It is not omg amazing, but at the same time it is much easier and better than DF story. So the format is much better.
It is still missing the grit, and I hope in the future this will come out. We building up, but I want you to remember that warcraft is very gritty and has some very dark stories. The foundation of warcraft was built of slavery, racism. and some of the most cruel stories. I get moody when people say that the current tone is more for us women. I’m hoping it will go back to the darker tones, because this have been way too safe with the story.
I can’t take it seriously with Faerin “Netflix” Lothar still in the game whatsoever.

Unfortunately, I think even Metzen let slip that he just can’t waltz in and give his creative direction. So reading between the lines… I think while improved, we will have this level of story telling in midnight and last titan.
I was hoping they’d give metzen more free reign and see how he really wants to end this arc but seems blizzard it up for a vote on a lot of the ideas and direction. (I know OP didn’t mention metzen but it is what came to mind when going back to that OG WoW story telling and theme).
I like the voice actor but her character model is silly. Has shield but no arm to wield it.
