we definitely need to kill off all the new characters they tried to introduce as important as well. I feel like we just need to give up on having a comprehensive main story quest where we follow “heroes” around and go back to immersive zones with somewhat interesting and engaging side quests with one off characters that are written by some outsourced hobby writers.
His mom was also really cool. I dunno, I think they let all the right characters shine and it’s not that bad. I feel like a very small part of the story felt out of place which was the arathi thing. Everything else was good to me.
and what do they all have in common? the alliance and yes thrall too he’s jaina’s dog so kill him and kill the alliance, go back to faction wars. game cant be saved going forward with the clowns theyre introducing either so pretty much kill everyone and restart lol.
Only thing we can do to make the story better is start from Legion. Make the sword the center of the next expansion. Still use Kul Tiras and Zandalar, but do something more interesting other than another stupid war.
Maybe more Old Gods stuff. Make the void scary, unlike the way it is now.
Who? The Orc that we see in the loading screens and literally nowhere else?? I dunno what story you’ve been following but I haven’t seen anything but Humans, Elves & Alliance shenanigans all expansion. Even the Goblin area the story was around the “Alliance” Goblin.
The story is pretty great, especially when they take us back to old content like they did with the Arathi and Trolls and behold, we are fighting the Trolls next expansion - things always line-up as they should.
You should start reading the short stories and books on the side it really does help ALOT. Perspective is a hidden gem when playing WoW.
The Arathi we met were an expedition who’ve been fighting to survive the last 20~ years. They don’t have the luxury of fanaticism, they have to work together or die.
The main empire, the ones who’ve been the only superpower on their continent for centuries are the ones you want if you’re looking for fanatics. Nothing breeds extremism like comfort and security.
