The stigma against twinking never warranted this

You’re missing the point completely. Let me say it again. You  can  not  do  that  with  only  yourself

You already admitted that you’re not the focus AKA you have a team or at least one other person to pull peoples attention away from you.

Twinking and killing a whole team isn’t hard, but claiming one person can solo 15 people at once without any other team mates around is a blatant lie. You already admitted that you couldn’t do it if you were focused, which was my whole point.

Lemme set the mood.

It’s warsong gulch, or glittergulch mine, I don’t judge, but there you are, invisible, coming up on that turtle on the Efc, what do you do? Oh you do what any reasonable person does, you drop 3 cones of cold in about 3-4 seconds and everybody on that turtle is dead.

You smell that? That’s an entire team, deceased, riperino, spirit healer business booming.

I like this thread, this is a fun one.

Until you show me a video of you killing 15 people at once by yourself with no other team mates around, I’m gonna continue to call BS. :man_shrugging:

Only way I’d believe it is the rare circumstances like when Blizzard accidentally took off lvl req’s and allowed lvl 19 twinks access to northrend engineering, with people getting up to 2.2k HP vs the 500+ that 19’s have

Yeah lemme just go download fraps, and post my ventrilo records.

Link me when you get it done. :+1:

yeah you do need to be separate. I haven’t played my alts because I like to pvp, but I am having a not so fun time getting steam rolled during my play time because someone else has the spare time and money to twink out their alts they are not trying to level.

That 48-0 screenshot I posted was running completely solo, I doubt you could do it right now, but depending on the expansion and patch it was completely possible, and may be in the future depending on changes.

80 twinks in mop for example could, my 80 fire mage could literally kill 40 people in AV or IoC with a big combustion spread.

Sorry but it just proved that twinking community was non-existent.

What proved it wasn’t existent? There is literally an entire site dedicated to them (xpoff). However, those are the guys who enjoy fighting amongst each other. I’ve engaged in several conversations there and it’s well known that the people who post on here defending twinking and to a lesser extent, reddit, are an embarrassment to their entire community.

There are actual communities of twinks in wow, the community feature, you remember that? Yeah, we are in those. I’m apart of a 60 community, they tend to wargame a lot, not the biggest fan of it myself, but I dabble in it every now and again.

What is the likely hood of 15 people coming to kill 1 twink who happens to be completely alone?

Yeah his scenario was poor, realistically if you know what your doing you can sacrifice the people in your group just to let you cast, i tend to let the other poor giblets on my team move around me, then wait for the enemies to target them (target of target is great for this) and once in clear, free cast.

Sometimes you gotta sacrifice your pawns for the big play, and it works.

Yeah.

So we need to get 14 people to go after 1 person in order to counter a twink with out one

so we then need a twink on our side and hope they don’t have two

I mean you just need to lock them down, twinks, despite our huge damage, can still be quickly put down, it’s just we put everyone else down faster, honestly if 2 casters who were good on interrupts sat on me i don’t expect to get out, but in a BG that doesn’t happen, people are looking for the closest thing to hit.

Basically The Cooridination required to down a twink is usually not present, and make it easy for us to well, do what we do.

The ones where none stays to defend flags in AB

So you are of the opinion that all advantages are unfair?

I disagree, fair is about equal opportunity.

A complicated reply to respond to.

I absolutely agree that fair is about equal opportunity.

To suggest that, in the real world, everybody has equal opportunity is ludicrous.

I certainly don’t expect things (in this or any game or in real life) to be fair.

Any such expectation is just as ludicrous, life isn’t fair, never has been, never will be, get over it and move on.

On a totally unrelated side note:

An island off the north coast of Sicily is currently on the market, it’s available to anyone who wants to buy it. Equal opportunity, no discrimination from the sellers, beautiful location, great place to put a winter home if you live up north where I am. Yet nobody I know has even bothered to put in an offer.

I wonder why?

If someone blindly walks into a PvP queue and gets destroyed and never comes back, that person neither understands, nor cares about PvP.

The biggest problem with your point is that there’s no reason why someone who cares so little about PvP that they cannot be bothered to equip gear must be on an equal footing with everyone else. Why do they HAVE to be in a PvP queue? Why is there an idea that someone who is willfully ignorant of PvP must enjoy it? Can’t they just not PvP?

There are lots of people who don’t want to play the AH. Should everybody just be sent free gold in the mail so that everybody can be equal?

What’s wrong with that? Seems to me that should be a feature. Blizzard revamped WSG specifically to make turtling more difficult. If I was in a battle, I could leap into the enemy trench and mow down the opposition with a machine gun blast to all those unprepared. I mean given a second chance, I doubt they’d play it out the same way, but to me, that sounds like an excellent L2P opportunity.

There was a video clip of a shaman blasting an entire invasion force off the lifts in Thunder Bluff. That must have been memorable for everybody involved and even for me, who took no part in it. You know what wasn’t memorable? That battle where everybody played equally and one team only just barely beat the other because they were both so well-balanced.

Actually you’re talking about healers… in the level-cap bracket. There was a brief time when level 64 players were gods because of MoP gear and there was a time when level 90 enchants could be placed on level 19 characters, but that neither existed in classic, nor does it currently exist (stats change given level on enchants). Your justification falls short on anything relevant to today.

It seems to me people complaining about twinks think it’s all about the gear. You are going against someone playing a character at a set xp level. They play that character ALOT. They know how to get the most out of it, and they are very good.

A complainer rolls in, leveling a class they are most likely learning, and gets wrecked. Did the fact that most of you complaining are still learning a class, and are no where near mastering said class factor into the reason you got wrecked?

I would bet if you put a twink in standard heirlooms, or gear equal to yours, they would still wreck you because of their skill and knowledge of the class they play.
