i said i wanted to play a destro twink and you told me that i should be a fury warrior or outlaw rogue because they’re some of the only “good” classes. what exactly is that if not trying to have an advantage?

I haven’t made a twink before, nor am I super familiar with the community surrounding it, but I do feel for you, being unable to do what you enjoy sucks.
But in this case, it’s a healthy decision for the sake of new player experience, and for the majority of low level PvP players.
Properly geared twinks are one of the (many) things that has turned out tons of people from even wanting to experience PvP, ether at low levels or at max, due to how unfun it is to play against them, with or without bad intentions on the twinks part.
If the community of twinks is a vast as you say it is, maybe try to coordinate with it to put everyone into a few core brackets?
But again, I feel for you, but it’s a healthy change for PvP as a whole.
I was just trying to avoid you wasting your time and money to end up having a very un-fun time. Warlocks are one of the worst classes for BGing in almost every bracket.
Since you don’t know much about twinking I was just letting you know what you’re going to be facing, like a helpful person who has experience in that area does.

i have no ranking and haven’t attacked anyone about theirs. turnabout would be you armory shaming HIM. i have never claimed to be godly or skilled at wow. i play to have fun and am mostly terrible at the game. but at least i own it. and when i pvp i do my best and do objectives and don’t just spawn camp people.

19 bracket may survive for a little bit, 29’s already up to 35 minutes a game which will quickly degrade to probably once a day ques again…
In most regular games you’d only see 4 twinks at most, so trying to get two full teams of twinks is going to be hard, especially considering twinking isn’t something you do every day forever…at least for me, anyway.
why not just ask for templates back for brackets below max level then? then you can queue and be in your favorite bracket but no one will be whining about being one shot by someone much more geared than they are?

Templates were complete garbage and just a bad idea. It takes away a TON of player choices which is something that needs to happen less. We need to give players MORE choices, not less.
There’s a reason they took templates out in the first place, they were boring as hell. Want top damage? Que up as a MM hunter and spam 2 buttons, top damage without even trying and it never changed. There’s nothing fun about that.

well templates are the only thing that would keep you from having a ridiculous gear advantage and the only reason i could see why twinks would be in the normal queue. i’m not understanding why that’s a bad thing.
Pro twinks are toxic because we’re non-stop barraged with people saying “TWinks r dum good! Kill twinking!” “twinks r bad pvpers who suk!” “Pvpers r just meen people!”
I mean, I’m pretty sure you came into this thread with a paragraph long about how bad and crappy twinks are…? You expect them to treat you kindly in return…why?

I’d rather keep twinking dead than have templates. As I stated over and over templates make PvP boring. Everyone does the exact same thing, which is super cool for rated things like RBGs or arenas where you want both sides equal, but for casual BGing it turns into a complete snorefest.
Also as I stated the way they implemented templates completely took away any player choice at all in anything. So…player choice = good taking that away = bad. Get it?

when has a leveler ever spawn camped you in a bg and tbagged you and emote spammed you and in general was a total… yeah. it’s easy to see why levelers have issues with twinks. to act like these are not total common practices that people are sore about is irrational.
what’s wrong with both sides being equal? this seems to be the best thing? so it’s about skill (or lack thereof) being the biggest factor?
