yes should have returned after legion was over, since legion used pvp templates… a mistake that non twinks had to suffer for months now.
I whole heartedly disagree.
Twinks are great against other twinks. They can go bash each others brains in and have fun in a skill on skill environment where the gear differential doesn’t just have them basically gibbing everyone else in a few hits.
This is afterall what ALL of the twinks said they wanted back in the day when twinks were first moved off to their own queues. So it was good to see them get it.
No one who is new to the game, or leveling up and using pvp to level should be subjected to that environment. All it does is create incentive to not pvp. It’s not fun to be thrust into an environment where you are just getting insta-killed. There’s no skill involved in that.
And no reason anyone who is not a twink should be screwed over by twinks.

That was such a fast reply haha. But that makes sense then, I didn’t pvp too much during Legion so I hadn’t it happened back then.

And what is gonna happen is this. Remember I said it here first.
Most of those twinking now will just bench their twinks and either unsub again or go to pve thus lowering the pvp player base even more. WHoever is running this ship is bad for business.

I thought about this a bit today, and I actually wonder if that new thing where all gear in the game will now epic upgrade had anything to do with this decision? Because you technically could no-life re-roll a character multiple times until all the best gear you can get upgrades and just absolutely destroy casual levelers.
Theoretically anyway, I don’t know if anyone has that much time on their hands.
nothing of value was lost for the lords of the metrics they want you to do current content not content from 10+ years ago.
non twinks seems to VERY welcome the change if you read.

This is all they understand. If more people did it then maybe one day someone wil some authority will intervene and replace the leadership in the dev department.
if someone REALLY goes that far they need to seek therapy HELP as soon as possible.

If you believe that lost subs is nothing important then you are part of the problem I believe. Blizz should care about a shrinking player base a little more.
I think twinks are part of the problem, new players try casual pvp and get 2 shoted by fanatic twinks that get everything handed by others, 0 effort whatsoever gearing or doing anything for themselves.
Oh and I agree they SHOULD care however I believe twinks are just a forced part of the game these days they are there to make casual leveling bgs (to avoid a bit the burnout of questing/dungeoning) miserable and sad for others for the sake of their own “joy”.
There’s things far more important and critical to fix with CURRENT content than twinks.

They will NEVER accept that the only reason they are complaining is because they want to decimate under-geared people. If the love of the twink is to “compete” at that bracket, they would welcome the separation. That way it would be even. I’ll keep saying it, twinks are made to grief, camp and overpower at the expense of other players pain. No other reason.

Any twink subs lost simply because they are being forced to play their own kind and not just be able to easily murder non-twinks has to be balanced against the subs not-lost that otherwise would be from non-twinks that are fed up with being grouped with twinks.
Blizzard probably ran the numbers and knows what they are doing. They have data analytics folks that look at this stuff.

Your argument regarding the bg 120 bracket is the exact same thing twinks say. You’re being disingenuous if you think there’s a tangible difference between say 50-59 and 120.
Because there is a constant stream of ilvl increases, the better more competitive pvpers will always be several ilvls ahead of a casual pvper. at a lower bracket you simply outlevel it or match twinks by getting bis/close to bis gear which doesn’t change.
The incredibly fallacious arguments i’ve seen against twinking are stupid. Twinking is a non issue, because leveling in this game is hilariously easy.
“lower brackets are just there to do casual bgs”. This is your opinion. Has blizzard said this was the case? Why would blizzard allow players to level lock if this wasn’t the case. This is just your opinion and not a matter of fact. Simply put, Blizzard has been okay with twinking because they havent done anything about it for over a decade, and if anything, have encouraged it even more with level locking which wasn’t a thing back in the day.
how often are any of you really even pvping at lower brackets to the point where twinking is an issue? how many damn alts are you leveling? The arguments against twinks are incredibly weak.

Not wrong, but with the amount of legendaries I’ve seen twinks using I wouldn’t be surprised.
you’re asuming alot of things, I don’t have to and wont explain myself if you’re biased to your opinion (which is fine) you wont change my opinion regarding twinks and I just don’t bother have a good day/night.

I recall the mass tons of threads of people pissed off an fed up with pvping at lower level bgs where they were simply fed into the twink meat grinder and basically couldn’t play back in the day. It was a real and serious problem that made Blizzard pay attention and ultimately change the way things were done.
That they are separating the queues again indicates that it is now a serious enough problem again that they are willing to devote expensive developer resources hours to fix it.
They aren’t making these kinds of changes in the dark. They had their analytics teams review what was going on and made an informed tactical decision.

I doubt thats the reason. They dont put the resources into pvp. Its just another knee jerk reaction to fix a non existent problem.

I have several twinks and I can tell you the hard truth right now. Most twinkers want to get into a 5 man team and steamroll new players while trash talking their non-twink team for being noobs. Most of the twinkers in their big communities actually queue dodge Alliance twink teams like cowards and rarely want a fair fight. We have a boat load of members in our communities, capping over 1k members easily. There’s no excuse to not have a twink only bracket.
