Faction change to start trying to practice PvP… get the call I’m going in for surgery on Monday.
So much for that.
The surgery is way more important than this season though. The irony is still hilarious to me.

Trying to get my apartment disinfected and ready for me to be bed bound with a bird for a few days by myself has been really hard. I really wish I had more notice.

Hell yeah. Stomp those brain gremlins! It’s an absolute bastard to build up motivation to get anything done while you’re dealing with depression and that is a victory. Heckin’ good job. I’m proud of you!

So, I would be doing okay, except I got fired about an hour and a half ago. That has put a damper on the day. I’m actually a little surprised it took this long for them to get rid of me. I have depression and anxiety issues, and with Covid and the distopian nature of politics and daily life here, things have gotten a bit worse than I realized. So I’m just thrilled to be thrown into this job market, with severe depression, to job hunt. wheeeeeeee. yay me! But on a brighter note, I have money in savings and I’ve been through worse and managed to make it. This too shall pass I suppose.
I have finished moving. Never have I been so tired. The new place is a lot nicer though.

I’m doing well. Started a full load of fall semester course work.
Well we had another disaster at the site today.
Down here in Western Australia, a series of new laws about mobile phones being on or being used in a car can net you a 3-4 demerit point penalty and anywhere from a 500-1000 dollar fine.
A (now ex!) employee of the site I have affectionately dubbed ‘Bucko the Exhausting’, in a fit of galaxy-brain, decided to try to out-run the police by gunning through the bush that separates us from the nearby highway, ploughed through two chain-link fences with his super-muscle 4-wheel-drive, tore 2 sets of concrete-anchored fully-metal fence-posts out of their moorings and then launched said over-compensation-mobile into the drainage pond, where all the inedible by-products of the site (blood, feces, urine, liquid viscera) from the slaughtered livestock is washed away to be processed, and impacted into the far bank of the pond, completely totalling his car.
In addition to getting the penalty fee and demerit point loss for using a mobile phone in-hand, while driving.
Along with charges for attempting to evade the police, and reckless driving.
In addition to whatever legal avenues the site is going to pursue for violating security, damaging property and generally being a shining example of why you shouldn’t go looking for dates at the family reunion.

Gearing up my DK we did Ctas in Vale and Mechagon then we went did some pvp in Stormwind only to get called back that people were gonna be smacking org then me and my guild killed the boyking for the achievement 
Sending my kid off to school after weeks of headlines of massive outbreaks in both public and private education. Guess he’ll be distance learning again before I know it.
My kiddo just started distance learning today.
It’s already frustrating for everyone involved. 2020 is the worst year.
I’m doing fantastic! The gender reveal to my first child is this Saturday. COVID has actually made my job easier with regard to legal hearings. Most hearings are now held remotely so I don’t have to hop on an airplane to attend a 15 minute hearing! I love it.
In other news, I got flying in BFA this past weekend with that awesome rep boost. I should have mechagnomes come Shadowlands with that rep requirement removed!
I finished painting my bedroom. First time painting a room and it looks great! Needs some touchups but I didn’t destroy the room which means success.
Next up is painting the Game Dungeon ™ and figuring out how to getting my retro mural up on the accent wall.

Life hasn’t been too bad to handle.
Largely, I’ve been bored and isolated and I’m really just trying to make some friends again. WoD, Legion, and BfA had enough low points where I was unsubscribed long enough to put down roots in my home town and buy a house. Big positive!
Lately it feels like I’ve entered a mode of comfort, and in that I feel a restlessness.
