They nerfed all of our abilities. We now officially dont use any abiilities. Just go full BM, put your broken scorpid on the boss and AUTOSHOT till you are the top of the meters. Real Fun game you designed there. If I want to PLAY THE GAME, Imma have to roll another class, because as it is you just set up the automation and walk away.

Hunters in PvP feel the best for everyone else when they’re just kind of mid. They’re an annoying class at this level bracket and shouldn’t really be a threat considering how cagey they can play.

Hunters have always been the bot choice in wow classic.
As a wow classic hunter main myself who decided to go druid this time around because I knew there would be way too many hunters, and grinded enough wpvp to hit rank 3 in first reset, I can safely say that 99% of hunters just don’t know how to play the class then come here and post about how weak they are.
My assumption is that so many people heard how hunters were going to be insanely OP in the first few phases of SoD, that a lot of first timers are playing the class. I’ve killed hundreds of lvl 25 hunters 1vs1 in pvp and only twice have I fought a hunter that ACTUALLY knew how to place the class.
The addition of runes for many classes made it to where hunters can’t just straight dominate 1vs1 in pvp without any skill/knowledge of the class. I’m also speaking in terms of prior to most of the hunter nerfs as I started pvp grinding day 2. Hunters are still one of the top tier classes for pvp in the 25 bracket for SoD but ONLY if you know how to play the class. The spectrum of difficulty I have in 1vs1’s with hunters that I face is by far the biggest of any class.

Hunters have always been the cruise-control class for people that want the bumpers up in the bowling lane. Continue to nerf them until their performance represents their skill level. Most hunters won’t even notice as they are largely bots/bad players.

That’s true, but if Hunters were bad their farm speed would be worse and it would slow the destruction of the economy.

heh yeah thats another thing that keeps blowing my mind when I read the forums. The amount of people coming here posting about how busted one class is and how weak their class is when they are out trying to pvp in the gear they got while leveling to 25. The gear gap right now is massive. I’ve still been grinding pvp every day even though it doesn’t do anything for me and the amount of people who are 25 and still only have between 500-700 hp is mind blowing. You can go to the AH with just the gold you got from leveling and boost that up over 1khp. They running around with 500 hp getting killed by someone using a rune ability 2-3 times and they come here posting about how OP it is and needs to be nerfed.

I did this already, I rolled up a warrior who is doing WAY more damage than my hunter could ever do and its much more fun. Granted my warrior is only level 8 and my hunter is 25 with the rake pet and mostly pre-bis (did not do BfD yet)
I don’t play era, no.
I played vanilla. Hunter bots existed back then, I don’t recall mage bots.
Last I heard hunters are doing fine in raiding, could be worse. The one thing you alluded to that I agree with is that it is pretty boring. Regardless hunter PvP is super fun in this bracket as long as you have two brain cells to rub together.
I feel for you, because hunter is a genuinely fun class to play. There’s still a ton of people defending the scorpid saying hunter is a pet class and its normal for their pet alone to outdps the next highest dps. I was pretty excited when i saw lone wolf being a thing, only to find out nobody uses it and its just Scorpids all the way down.
