I was replying to the original post, just sharing my experience. I have a bad time if I don’t switch to a horde toon after a certain hour. The level of coordination just seems markedly different.
man i remember to be gang abused by a bunch of belfs in rbg, and normal bgs, i was usually stalked by creepy tauren druids while mining and the pain and suffering were the only constants in world pvp quests, what happened to you guys?
“why creepy tauren?” they introduced transmogs… it was not too much clothing for a giant cow.

I feel like I can lose 10 in a row on alliance then go horde and lose 10 more times. There are a lot of premades out there these days, you’re probably running into them. Just bad luck. Also like someone else said, depends on time of day too.
Idk before I left I had to struggle my behind off to try and get a win by myself or with a little help cause the ally teams were either undergeared or just not trying. But it usually is just a roll of the

My lock has done 20 mercs, and I’ve won 19 of them
This is my experience as well. Alliance does very well midday and early evening while horde wins a lot very late at night into early morning.
Not weird at all, bluster is a fantastic player with huge personal contribution potential and significantly more map awareness than a vast majority of bg players
Not every game is winnable, but almost every game can be meaningfully impacted to increase your odds (also some specs have outright more solo carry potential than others)

If that’s true, that’s kinda unfortunate.
The Horde have to wait for the Alliance to go to sleep before they can finally get their daily wins.
oh boohoo poor horde yeah right its been like this for 3 expacs but reversed for once alliance is finally winning o no the distress , if it was reversed still and alliance were complaing like this wed get called crybabies etc and to deal with it . The double standards r insane imo .

There’s a couple alliance premades that merc at night
- deku/metz and pj’s group
also when a couple horde premades start qing
- Aurania usually has a group with uncleflex
- this is when franq plays and he swaps between horde/alliance quite a bit
It’s also when my me/my friends stop qing
My sister in Christ you are the horde when we merc.

We queue Alliance, it’s a stomp, boring games.
We merc, it’s no longer a stomp, good games.
We go back to queuing Alliance, stomps again.
Simply built different.

I definitely feel like the classes I’m maining can have a huge impact just on their own. Destro can basically wipe teamfights by itself if you get a few seconds to free cast and pugs love to trigger precog for no reason so that can happen pretty frequently lol. And even though my rogue is really undergeared, I feel like it is really good at impacting games too if you can consistently ninja nodes.
I played ele last season too and it felt the same with the crazy damage it could do. Looking at my ele’s reflex from last season it was similar:
I think it might be different if I was playing a healer solo though. Getting bad DPS annoys me enough when I can try to make up for them, but getting a team of bad DPS if I was healing would feel awful.

I’ve solo q’d prob half of these games
December of last year, the majority of the games were around x-mas time/early January.
