And to understand that you have to understand that they were manipulated by a legion demi-god into thinking an alien race crashing on their planet was going to wipe them out. Not that unrealistic either and something they mostly regret. That’s saurfangs entire speech to Garrosh.
Like I said, grom was a bad guy, but he’s not a villain per say. Garrosh was a villain. He wanted to kill alliance just because he didn’t like them and thought orcs were better.

Maybe, just maybe, Blizzard has always intended to show the Orcish horde exactly as we see them rather than what the fans imagine them to be.

Which is part of the reason I really want to see the Horde taking actions to right the wrongs after this war. I want to see the Horde pulling out of contested zones, giving ground. I want to see them trying to help those they harmed. Things like resources being sent to Darkshore. Horde druids helping heal the land and helping the Night Elves rebuild.
If the Horde in general, or at least the leadership, is truly repentant for their action or support that allowed the crimes, let them show it. Without that, the whole ‘We are good now, honest’ is just a bunch of hot air. And that kind of an end will never be satisfying.

The orcs are a warrior race and they were always at war with their former slave Masters the ogres and most clans weren’t at war with the draenei so what point are you trying to make exactly because Garrosh showed up at the point in history where the orcs were already at war with the Draenei and the horde had already been formed by Gul’dan/ the shadow council. The iron horde is just the same horde before they drank demon blood but after they were told the Draenei were plotting their extinction( something that was quite common on Draenor).

Would have been nice to see BOTH Horde and Alliance trying to save people in Teldrassil.
That would have really helped the “Hey lets get along again” narrative.
So the Orcs are bunch of blood thirsty savages with no redeemable quality besides being a useful tool for killing whatever you point it at.

Imo, the downfall of the Horde began in Classic, when Blizzard decided that the factions needed to be at odds by shoving the Night elves in the Alliance and having the Orcs attacking Ashenvale instead of trading.
This need for faction conflict ruined the lessons of Warcraft 3, and things never got better.

My point is that you purposely ignore facts in an attempt to paint certain races as either more benevolent or more malicious than they actually are. The humans enslaved the orcs is that so benevolent? The orcs fought tooth and nail to save the world with the humans when they could have joined the legion are they so evil?

The reason the horde has gone to the deepest pit, it’s because the previous and current writers run out of most the WC villains, especially the ones from warcraft 3, that is why we have 2 civil wars in the horde in less than 4 years in-game to fill raids, dungeons and filler storyline while the alliance is just a passive watcher/npc for the horde horrible storyline.
The moment we have better guys to replace Afrasiabi, Golden, Danuser and the rest of the hack team that only wants to writers about humans and the real reason why we have Nathanos and Jaina being in everywhere, then we can enjoy a new and totally no biased story for both factions
