Honestly surprised Bliz haven’t caved and added a skip for this yet like I first found out about the Kyrian campaign requiring a Dungeon run when told my Nam I’d help her complete their campaign so she could unlock flying doing all the quests on my Warlock just to figure out why she was stuck…

Like ended up just getting her to swap to Night Fae and helped her through that campaign because well she doesn’t do Dungeons and honestly due to increasing complexity and her skill limit doubt she even could without getting kicked especially considering she plays a hunter

People literally do not care how bad you are in Normal/Heroic dungeons as long as you are actively moving with the group as opposed to running into a wall 3 rooms back.

That’s me in Theater of Pain and Halls of Atonement.

Partially colorblind–and those instances are beyond dark. Is there any way to increase the brightness? :frowning:

I ran this friday on hunter where the healer bailed. Boss 1 to 3 no heals. and no deaths.

LFD gave us a replacement literally on the ride up after boss 3 lol…

at this point most are geared its run and gun. don’t “stand in fire”, do your best with rotations and basically let the 260+ charge this place.

all good. be active…don’t be afk. Most are not going omg look at their meters. we can see the crap greens of a fresh 60. hell if I get drops they can use…I trade em not even asked.

Ok yup there is so from character select screen
Click menu,Click System,Click Advanced on the left side of the window that pops up and then Brightness is on the right side being a slider from 0-100

But its easy. A normal run is a 10min clear.

Normal dungeons are made for beginners no matter who or what you are. It’s not like he or her is going into a mythic plus or whatever.

But I do agree with a build in skip option.

Yeah I know but well probably not for my Nan plus even if I tried to persuade her to at least try and helped her along the way doubt she’d be willing…

She’s a WoW veteran literally got me into the game when I was 9 around WotLK and used to be a healer so a lot of bad experiences with toxic players

FWIW, when I was doing pvp quests to get some easy early honor on a new alt in greens with no legendaries, I just straight up turned chat off because I was sure someone would notice at some point that I was literally a free kill that could only tickle the enemy.

That’s always an option, especially in queued content where failure isn’t really a possibilit8y in most cases.

Here’s baseline vs max brightness + max contrast.
Max brightness without touching contrast is a little too washed out IMO.

There’s also Colorblind Filters in accessibility under Interface Options, though I doubt that’d help with darkness.

Dang! I didn’t realize the brightness could vary so much–thought it was just my old eyes going out on me.

I’ll turn it up a notch and play around with the filters to see what I can do.

For the dungeon, most likely not until Shadowlands is over

The BFA race opening quests have dungeon skips now, because it was previous content.

I rarely dungeon, and not for awhile now, however I chose Kyrian w/o knowing about the dungeon and it’s so easy - nothing to fear - and this is coming from someone with extreme anxiety about entering them. Why don’t you help your friend run the dungeon?

If you do normal she’ll be fine. Heroic is fine too people just churn and burn through those to get callings done

But if someone does get toxic, report them.

Some of the kiddos are back in school, the rest later on this month.

I main a hunter, have physical disabilities as well as the anxiety. In the actual game since MoP 85% of players are either nice or decent in normal.

But if you don’t want it and she doesn’t either just wait until DF and the dungeon will be skippable. Nothing else to do.

If you get a third person, (someone you trust) they won’t be able to kick her, without that third vote.

Or

Run with friends or guild mates.
