No one was ever waiting any amount of time to fill dps slots for groups on my server. It was about the healers.

Also stop being dense. Nearly all PRE-RAID BiS comes from 5 mans. You basically just said the sky is f-ing blue. Why the hell do you think it’s called “PRE” “RAID” Sage words from the guy who doesn’t want to play like a sage.
The point is they still suck in their pre raid gear. Where as rogues/fury warriors don’t.

The sky isn’t blue at all…it just reflects the water of the ocean and therefore it looks blue.
And pallies don’t do real dps. They are just illusions of warriors.

That sure does have a lot to do with pve dps.
You can do the same thing on a priest too ya know.
In vanilla, I think there was actually a higher ratio of tanks. That was probably because the line wasn’t as sharply drawn as it is now. If a warrior had 31 points in another tree, and 20 in prot, and a decent shield, then he was a tank.
Of course now people can just flit between specs so it’s more about whether you actually want to tank a pug and be expected to know what you’re doing.
I encourage all paladins to spec retribution and queue for battlegrounds 24/7.

It was definitely '06 as he didn’t level his warrior until after his rogue. Hmm, I don’t get it either. We didn’t have computers that could handle fraps back then in a serious capacity or we would have recorded some of his pvp matches.
I’d say I remembered using it on my paladins, but I didn’t use it on all of them so I have no frame of reference for them.
I’d spec Reckoning to be honest as it will do more burst.

So apparently in the beta, Shadow oil isn’t proccing off of SoR. I am wondering if that’s a bug or intentional.

Edit: I probably should tell you why at least, Shadowoil and other similar effects can not overwrite character based enhancements. This includes rogue poisons, shaman weapon buffs, and yes even SoR. Easily can just go look up old threads and comments from 2006.
I told them months ago. Similar type things such as consumables and even weapon enhancements do not stack, if a player is using a character based weapon enhancement which SoR is technically it does not allow another.
Define “real dps”. If that’s basically all you can do, then that’s pathetic.
Because Paladins simply exist in a raids presence, dps can do more dps, tanks tank better, healers heal better. They make everyone’s job better, everyone jobs easier, which allows the raid to be better and increase chances of success and lower the chance of wipes.
Do warriors do that? Heck no. The only warrior that matters at all is the MT. Fury are dime a dozen.
And paladins can also help do any of those three functions, depending on raid composition and what raid.
Where is the addon that tracks the additional benefits from BoK and all the extra damage that scaled from that?
Or all the extra mitigation on the MT?
Or the additional threat reduction from BoS that allows dps to push that much harder?
All that extra damage from dps and mitigation on the MT all belongs to the Paladin. That’s real dps.
What does a fury warrior bring? Enhanced autoattacks and a few attack skills. Can’t even reset his threat. One specced in improved battleshout that only benefits his group. Can’t even spec into arms bleed talents. Half his gear isn’t even plate, yet makes fun of Paladins in offset cloth keeping him and the raid alive.
