The Sloot and Ion interview was great

I am going to choose the covenant that I believe works best for my character aesthetically and I am going to be a mythic raider and glad pvper.

It won’t stop me. Get good and stop blaming your badness on the abilities you have if you believe it can’t be done. (not aimed at you just anyone in general with this mindset)

How am I blaming anything? I said your house won’t determine anything.

I said it wasn’t aimed at you.

Then don’t click my reply button.
Use the normal reply button.

Which is fine in a single player rpg. It’s not fine where you have pvp elements and competition for raid spots or even just getting into dungeon runs.

No ML? Yay

No WF or TF? Aw :sob:

At least it’s communication and answers.

As far as Covenants… I get the idea. I just hope they tune and balance them a bit before launch, instead of after we make our choices.

What if I like your reply button better?

Booo

Yay :stuck_out_tongue:

This was the best interview I’ve listened to with Ion. Sloot asked relevant questions and Ion actually took the time to give well thought out responses.

Having someone like Sloot, who raids high end, but also enjoy a lot of facets of the game, helps keep the questions on point with what the community wants.

Big thanks to Sloot and Ion for getting this out there for all of us and please so more interviews like this in the future.

It would have been nice if he touched on any new potential allied races/race-class combinations as well the decision for PVP currency

Interview was definitely good, but it definitely brought up more questions.

“Let loot be loot” was absolutely awesome to hear. But it also came with the caveat that there would be less loot drops in the grand scheme. However, M+ still allows for a chance at loot at the end of every run so…

Is M+ the only way to gear effectively? Will Torghast be a viable gearing alternative? Is m+ now WORSE because the gear can’t actually augment in any way aside from key level? What’s this mean for raid loot?

More curious, but also more excited!

It will never work out because people will cry if one stands out to be the best even if it’s just by 1 it will be better and and now I’m forced so it will end up scrapped because no one can be happy. So if all covenant abilities do not do the exact number of damage in every aspect of the game it will not be balanced. Because people have to be the best at everything. God forbid if one covenant is better for pvp and not as good at mythic+ and people have choose.

God forbid if people want to play multiple aspects of the game and interrupt your rp while you do what appears to be only world quests

Abilities have the magical power to make gameplay fun and unfun, just as having a certain aesthetic does. Forcing players to do something they don’t want to do isn’t a good thing.

exactly! if all covenants are not the best for all aspects of the game then it will be scrapped because people will not be happy that you will have to choose. I have to be the best at everything I don’t want choice I want it to all be the same .

Then let’s join all 4 covenants EleGiggle
Surely the Light House won’t care if we also chill w/ Vampires

Well, whatever happens it’ll work out if they stick to their word.

I wanted info on more class and race options. Or at least acknowledgement that they know people want that. Poor worgen, goblins, draenei, and tauren.

I don’t want to be inferior in a zero sum game due to story choices that is correct. I can be inferior on my own by messing up my rotation I don’t need help with that.

Well, instead they addressed real issues.
