Have ANY of this particular group of complainers actually been SLAPPED in the face?

It hurts. Like…immensely. it leaves a welt and sometimes if done really hard…can render someone unconscious

Im unsubbing because this is a SLAP IN THE FACE

“I didnt get x or y from my mythic+ chest”
“I feel disrespected in the pvp community”
“Pathfinder is hard!”
“Raiders get better gear and my lazy bum wants the best gear for no effort”
“WAR MODE ALLIANCE!”

Can we please stop comparing something soo painful as a slap in the face to something so trivial that is a pretend video game?

“Slap in the face” is an idiom. It is not meant to imply a literal analogy.

When you offer to reconcile with someone, you don’t actually find an olive branch to extend to them.

People are upset about certain things. They chose a common idiom to express it.

Not to mention the idiom is about the shock one gets from suddenly getting slapped, not the pain of getting slapped.

Nah, it’s a totally legit word. You get slapped, you yelp. Then you get a welt. Hence, welp.
