I feel like there should be some sort of dialogue between those two. There has to be some insight the Shen’dralar can offer in regards to studies of Void energies due to sustaining themselves on the power of Immol’thar. And supposedly the Shen’dralar have been working with Night Elves since Cata.

Here’s hoping for a Shen’dralar customization option for Night Elves! Maybe they can put a little questline in with it having them interact with the Void Elves too.
According to Wrathion, the Horde destroyed the libraries of Eldre’thalas during their canon clear of Dire Maul.
I’m not really sure what insight involving the Void could be gained from experience in siphoning energy from a Demon; but it would be nice to have the Shen’dralar acknowledged again, at least on a minor level.
I mean, some arcane jewelry would be nice but there’s literally no physiological distinction between Highborne and Kaldorei. Same race, different castes.
Best you can do now is bright blue skin, no tattoos, and white/purple/blue hair.
Why would they bother fleshing out a race that exists to give Alliance the Thalassian model but not really THE thalassian model.
We Ren’dorei did get some dialogue with the Dark Irons during the war campaign! One of them offered to help and the Void Elf response was ~ “Thank you my dirt-stained friend but we move faster on our own”

Immol’thar is a void terror or void hound. They’re often identified as demons, but often categorized as aberrations. Aberrations, like void walkers, are usually associated with the Void and Old Gods, but often get identified as demons. Immol’thar likely provided void energy to the Shen’dralar and not fel energy.
