The Severed Threads Rep Issue

Easy bud report here. Not gaining any rep with The Severed Threads. This seems to have happened after selecting a Pact.

I’m bumping this post as I’ve had the same issue after picking The Weaver.

Do you get reputation with any of the Pacts on your activities in Azj-Kahet? (not rumors) Then this is the intended behavior…

There’s no direct reputation gain with this major faction. Instead, you get reputation with their sub-factions (Notoriety Pacts) The Weaver, The General, and The Vizier.
Pacts use a friendship reputation system with 9 ranks (8x 2500 rep since we start with 1). A rank-up on one of the Pacts will also increase your Severed Threads reputation by a number equal to one Renown Rank (2500).

With that system (when you’d never use reputation bonuses), you will probably always see 0/2500 for this major faction and only experience jumps in ranks.

For me it doesn’t work that way - my individual reps add up to 11, my overall Threads rep says 8 (or 9, can’t access game atm, either way, not 11).
My friend I play with, who has done all the same things as I have, has correct rep for Threads at 11 and their sub-faction reps are the same as mine (we duo, they have done NOTHING else, even on alts to increase their rep over mine).

What do you mean by “individual reps add up to 11”?

I guess you say 11 because you see 5/3/3 for your Pact Ranks, that’s caused by 4/2/2 Rank-ups you had on Pacts (we start with 1, not 0).

That results in 8 Renown Rank-ups with The Severed Threads (we also start with 1), so your Renown should show 9 and be fine.

No clue why your friend’s Renown looks different, maybe you can tell me their server & a character name (btw. alts don’t add to rep when one character already got the rep since it’s now Warband rep)

This is happening to me as well. No rep gained for severed threads

I too am having no rep gained and also unable to choose a new pact. Please help blizzard…

This is working as intended. You get a full renown level when one of the 3 dudes hits a renown level. It is not intuitive.
