My GF and I have been leveling toons together in TWW. We just got to Azj-Kahet, and turned in the few main story quests with the Widow once we turned the the quest A seeming Respite that unlocks the faction, I’m already at lvl 4 and shes at lvl 2. I haven’t done anything different.
No delves?
Have you done it previously on another character? A lot of rep is account-wide now.
Did you get the extra Anniversary event rep bonus and she didn’t?
Did you do the max level dungeon weekly and pick one of the options that give rep with that faction (general/weaver/vizier)?

Was about to ask this. If you had an alt down there before, the Renown is account wide.

Essentially Severed Threads works in a weird way in that once you level up one of the generals, it gives you a fat reputation boost for all of Severed threads.
We just hit lvl 80 before entering Azj-Kahet. We haven’t made it to the General or the Vizier yet. How can I get rep with them, if I just got to Azj-Kahet. I should also note, we haven’t done any side quests, no delves and no dungeons. Just the main campaign.
But you would have had to have done a Delve as a part of the MSQ.
Brann makes you do it early on in the Dornogal story. It has a random chance of giving a reputation boost for whatever the challenge is and that one iirc is where you save Webbed people from nerubians (aka Ahj-kahet rep).
That would be weird, I guess it would be possible?. I’m not sure how I would be able to track that. We are also talking about 5000 rep difference
Levelling up a general gives 2500 reputation and assuming the reputation dbonuses, 5000 isn’t out of the question.
If your friend is Ninachu. It’s likely you have done a Bountiful Delve and she hasn’t. Other potential is that you’ve taken a number of characters from 71-73 and gotten Brann experience from that initial delve.
Your Brann is level 8 hers is level 5.
Yeah, I’ve done the delve in the Isle of Dorn with a different toon. But I don’t recall getting any rep with The Severed Thread, though. It seems like that’s the case.
For what it’s worth I think it is the direct severed threads rep from the delve because your generals are on identical reputations.
Did you by chance do the quest like for ‘Our chance to strike?’ It’s a quest you get from a little spider in Dornogal. That was the other quest chain coming to mind.
