The Secret Bike Crime

I honestly just don’t want to go through all the trouble to get the bike. The pet battle is part of the reason, but it’s more like I just don’t feel like doing the grind for the bike.

I think it’s nice that people who are having fun in the game and solving all these puzzles and doing all these pet battles are getting rewarded for their efforts.

I have a choice to do that grind as well, I just don’t want to.

Sure, as long as I can get every KSM mount for doing 100 pet battles.

Since I’ve done thousands of pet battles, every KSM mount should just jump into my bag.

I would not oppose that.

Well, unfortunately neither will happen so I guess we just have to play by the rules.

How are you forced?

I saw it required pet battles, and was like “nope” and didn’t do it.

It’s not like . . . oh . . . Hi Ion, why are you . . . OKAY OKAY I’LL DO THE FELCYCLE THING CALM DOWN ION.

I’d be cool with it. As someone who didn’t play the beta, the people who did get something neat that says that they did.

Well there’s two things you can do .

Devote the time and effort if you really want the green one or, stock up on Mtn Dew and Doritos and hope there is a legible code.

If so type it in and get the red one or wait for however they do the purple one.

Yeah the fel green one would be nice but I’m not up for all the stuff involved with it.

Those are pretty much the options.

Lastly if they did a special mount for accounts proven active at OG launch, then go for it. I’m okay with that.

I did pet battles once (well for a few weeks) back in BFA because it made getting rep a bit faster so I could fly.

It was ok. Nothing special but not outright awful.

Oddly enough, there are pets behind honor points (Bucketshell / Sir Snips - Honor Level 400) and as raid drops (111 different pets). The raid drop ones even have meta achievements (Raiding With Leashes), so once you complete a set collection, you get another pet (like Mr Bigglesworth, Tito, K’ute, Happiness, etc).

Eh. I’d say the hardest pets to get are probably the ones from the Celestial Tournament or the ones from the pet battle dungeons. The 400 honor level one is just an insane grind of rolling your face on the keyboard for many, many unrated BG’s. The ones from the collection metas are also a very long grind. A couple secret ones might be tricky to get like Unna or whatever. But 95% of the pets in the game are pretty easy to get. Even most of the so called “secret” battle pets are trivial to get.

True, but to counter, for those who get anxiety from anything PvP related, and who’s sitting at just under Honor level 10, it is just as out of reach as Eau claims this mount is. Yes, I could do it, and it would take a long time, and I would likely dread the entire endeavor, but I’ve accepted that it will likely just be one of those things I never accomplish, and move on with things that I am interested in.

I started trying for the Felcycle a few days ago, and I’m very appreciative for the Secret Finders community. Not sure how I would have even found Ratts, or had any clue how to start the first orb. Next up, orb 3 for me.

You’re not being forced to do the content. Don’t like it, don’t do it. You don’t have to do pet battles as part of your daily routine, but if a “secret” promotion requires it, then there’s really nothing wrong with it since it’s only for a quest or two and not permanently adding pet battles to what you do every day. If you REALLY don’t want to do any kind of side content, then get used to being locked out of certain things if Blizz chooses to add that as a requirement to get something.

We had to pet battle for Taivan, it’s not a surprise that they required it for another mount.

Im not a new player, but guess what… the three pets i used to defeat 5 O’Clock? I didn’t have ANY of them when this secret event started.

I literally farmed Baa’l, Spyro and Snowclaw Cub specifically for this battle after this event started.

It doesn’t require being a 10 year player, it DOES require having the commitment to do what is required to complete the event. If you don’t want to commit to the requirement, than don’t do the content… nothing in this game is required play… do what you want and don’t do what you don’t want to do.

Its doable from scratch if you want it.

On behalf of the people in the world who understand the risks/rewards equation, thank you.
Entitlement has stained the value of effort.

I jumped my Felcycle off that upper level near the Embassy in Orgrimar into the middle of town and sat there for a minute while everyone marveled at the coolness, rode away towards the portal room, and now I’ll probably never ride it again. It can’t fly.

Wouldn’t have a problem with it. I’m not a spoiled fomo person who feels they need everything in life.

I do agree it’s dumb that they added a step requiring max level pet battles. They should allow it to scale down to whatever level pets you have just like everything else. This is coming from someone who has tons of max-level pets.

That game has the whiniest bunch of babies
It’s literally like a 30 minute grind to level up a pet. I think you’ll survive.
And it’s REALLY just TOO much for you…
Don’t :slightly_smiling_face:

Check your pants if they are on fire.
