I was responding to the person saying they were worried about it because they donāt pet battle.
Blizz isnāt forcing you to do diddly. Itās an optional challenge meant toā¦challengeā¦you.

a progress update, apprently I am flting to Maldraxxus into some forgotten SL location to get 3rd fireplace buff, it is NUTS
Yet they tie some hard to get battlepets behind high end raiding so as a battlepet player, itās nice to see it go the other way

The Felcycle is a massive secret puzzle/treasure hunt clearly aimed at the most determined, obsessive, and probably degenerate of collectors. We know who we are. There are good reasons why various steps of this involve pets, transmogs, toys, and mounts. And there are reasons why so many of those steps can be sidestepped/cheesed/accomplished if you have a friend, or even if just someone nearby has what you need.
I feel like anyone complaining about the pet battle step for the Felcycle doesnāt need to be doing this, not when there are so many other things in the game that need doing.
I donāt high-end raid, I donāt high-end PvP, I donāt play the goblin games of the AH, but I do obsessively collect, and so for me, this is a fun puzzle which lets me dig deep into my bags of hoarded tricks. 
Including all those secret pets I acquired over the years.
(And I deeply appreciate the secret finders for doing the hard work of solving this stuff!)
