I would say Lucid Nightmare is far more difficult than Felcycle.

That stupid maze almost made me give up the hunt on that one.
I do not enjoy pet battles. Not doing them for any reason.
OMG you can buy a corgi at the event and use that! I had the corgi before this but it worked for me needing to get the bone!
I don’t even engage in the pet battle stuff and i was able to get the bone!
EDIT: It’s stuff like this that causes the devs to question the intelligence of their playerbase.

That maze was simple if you could wrap your mind around the concept of impossible spaces.
I already got mine in Legion, I was part of the community. You’d be surprised to see lots of people had issues with the puzzles other than the maze.
I wouldn’t, people have problems with a lot of things.
But as far as I’m aware Endless Halls was the most difficult part for most. Everything else was comparatively fairly simple — making a cog with lights, untangling some knotted shapes, candy crush, inputting some numbers — but the maze wasn’t something you could just input or really feasibly brute force to the point people were relying on addons.
Far as I’ve seen the closest thing it can be compared to is the 5x5 Warden puzzle with its nonlinear relations, which involves a lot more bs math than just remembering certain rooms lead to other rooms that don’t make topographical sense.
It also involves a lot more steps besides; 7 compared to 8, or 12 if you want the mount special.
Update on me progress, I moved to rats.
If you have a level 3 garrison, there is a quest that gets you an upgrade stone (From 1 to 25), get the appropriate pet off the AH or quick quest and there is 1 done.
If you have 3 garrisons and never done Battlepets you’re in luck!

Aside satanic number of special pets and relics and toys for the zul,
but those are shareable and there are lot of good people just standing there to assist you (that is where real nice community is).

SL mission tables give hundreds of pet charms for very little effort, that’s a much faster way to deal with leveling and upgrading pets. Legion & BFA tables work too, only slower.
I haven’t done actual pet battles to level them for years.
And yet there are a variety of different puzzles. Not everyone enjoys every single puzzle that’s part of this. For some of those people, the bike is worth it. For others, it is not. It’s impossible to please every single person with the questline.
