The Seat of Knowledge

I set out to seek knowledge from the past. My surveying equipment has reached the four corners of Pandaria many times over. I have put together enough terracotta arms to construct my own Mogu army. I have enough amber to make fine jewelry for hundreds. I have enough beer steins for entire taverns.

A pristine funerary statue was all that eluded me. Even though it was a 0.97% chance that I had not found one yet, it finally happened. I placed it in the Seat of Knowledge, receiving an approving nod from the Lorewalkers there. 1,256 artifacts later, I was finally done.

So, I am now a Seeker of Knowledge. People may ask “What knowledge did you find?” My only answer is this: I now know to never do something like that again.

Congratulations.
That’s quite an achievement in patience and dedication.

Congrats! That one was definitely rough on the time investment.

It was the most frustrating thing I’ve done in game so far. There gets to be a certain point where you feel like you are “almost there, so might as well finish it.” But towards the end, the RNG of the dig sites, on top of the RNG of the right artifact, on top of the RNG of a pristine one, was soul crushing for a long time. Can’t even see a light at the end of the tunnel, you just keep running until it smacks you in the fact at random.
