…Seem to hint at a potential civil war in lordaeron, finally some alliance internal struggle. Calia will fulfill her prophecy (the light has struck a bargain with the enemy of all / The golden one claims a vacant throne. The crown of light will bring only darkness.), potentially having to go up against her own son/daughter, while Blanduin is accused of conspiring with sylvanas and genn is used as a pawn…
i wonder if this will all take place in SL or the next expansion, but it certainly hints at a human civil war on the surface but that has way deeper meaning in the power struggle between light, void, death, etc.
That’s my thought… if you scrape together the remaining human inhabitants of northern EK you might have enough to play baseball if you’re lucky, and Stormwind’s young, fighting-capable population was decimated by BfA so recruiting from it is a bit like bleeding a stone.
…unless the new Scarlet Crusade is a bunch of grannies? Is grandma Stonefield gonna knit her way to a revolution with the other 5 Scarlet whippersnapper kids?
Lol yeah I honestly don’t think anyone cares about Lordaeron at this point. (By that I mean cares enough to go to war over it) The place was destroyed 2 decades ago. The ONLY alive person I can think of from Lordaeron is Turalyon. Everyone else is either Horde, a DK, or Calia Menethil. I don’t see a point fighting over land that’s completely wrecked. But maybe that’s just me.
Il’gynoth’s whispers contained only hints of truth. It seems incredibly likely that the Scarlet pamphlets will play out the same. I wouldn’t expect every single thing foretold by them to come to pass.
Since they’re bringing the Crusade back, if there isn’t a new arc of Whitemane the Horseman leading the charge against her former comrades that’ll be such a missed opportunity.
I could honestly see this as potential to be a full blown expansion, depending on how far they go with this Scarlet Crusade propaganda. Just imagine this causes mass hysteria and the Scarlets suddenly get a flood of recruits, they could take over the northern half of the Eastern Kingdoms, Calia’s estranged son or daughter could be one of the main baddies, it could work out really good. A civil war and tension with alliance members? Eh, feel like we’ve seen that too much on the horde side, a little repetitive.
Oh no, don’t get me started on revamping capital cities and giving us lore capitals, I’m gonna go insane. Can you imagine Orgrimmar with new lighting and Wod/BfA orc architecture? And a new skybox? It’d be amazing.
you guys are missing the best part. The latest video interview said time works differently in the shadowlands. This is a hint that maybe when we come out the other side, lordaeron is rebuilt and full of people and anduin is like an old woman by then.
Wow, so we could basically be in Shadowlands for like a year and a half in Shadowlands time and that could be like 10 years on Azeroth, that leaves so much that could happen in that time frame, ooo im getting exciteddddddd
