You must do this and this and you must do these things fast and get geared fast and do content fast or else you’re kicked and be removed from guilds.
And I am here like fine you do you rush and burn yourself out. And I am here like taking my time to gear and to level and doing content normally and not rushing. Burnout? It takes me several months to burnout. Those who rush on everything to get to the top will burnout even sooner than say normal people who does content ordinarily.

They rush, meanwhile have garbage stats on their gear and still don’t know the mechanics of the dungeons even though the xpac is over.
People still eat the blind on the last boss of Priory.

People value their time, especially when they’ve been playing the same game for 20+ years.
Folks complete their goals in the season then take a break until the next season.

Buddy, can I recommend you just worry about yourself? People are going to play the game how they are going to play it. It really is none of your business.
Besides, the game is designed to play how you want. Want to rush end-game content? That’s cool. Want to to take your time, relax and smell the roses? That’s cool too. It’s even better when you find a guild and/or friends that share the same in-game goals.
Just do what you want, ignore the rest.

Guilds aren’t the issue. It’s pugs. Fall behind in ilvl and GOOD LUCK cause you’re NEVER getting invited. That’s the #1 reason I will rush the M+ next week to get my score started cause if you fall behind then HAHA good luck! I find best players are early in the season so if your goals are 2k or 3k for mounts and titles and such, earlier is better. I usually get it done in 2-3 weeks so then I can relax.

If you aren’t 710 ilvl already you aren’t getting into my quest group let alone a mythic

That’s fine, I lead my own groups and will also invite people super high ilvl even if I am not. I’ll be 675 taking people 700+. I mean, I did m0s on toons as low as 620.
The key is your ilvl can be as low as possible if you’ll start the group, it’s getting invites that’s the problem

You answered it yourself. If you miss the first 1-2 weeks of a season launch, in most CE guilds - your tier is over. If you don’t sustain at least 4-8 M10’s a week? It’s over.
Blame Blizzard, not the players. They design this game to require that kind of play so you don’t hit a 6 week wall on a Mythic boss. Ashvane Mythic in BFA. Halondrus and Anduin in Shadowlands. Heroic on the other hand is trivial and boring after 2-3 weeks for these players. Mythic is the only “fun” content in the game and they’re gatekept from it by not doing 120 keys in the first 2 weeks of season launch. Heck, even a few years ago - splits were something only the top of the top guilds were doing. The entire Hall of Fame is doing it now, pretty much.
It’s terrible and they need to do something about it. I know multiple players who loved the game, but didn’t wanna deal with the first 2 weeks of patch requirements. And make no mistake - they’re requirements for a reason.
Sounds like you’re surrounding yourself with people that don’t have the same goals as you in game.
Being in a guild like that can give you some prejudices about more casual players, you might not realize it but that might actually be more to your liking.
Remember to be open minded and maybe give a more casual group of players a try.

This is why the game doesn’t show you the ilvl of everyone in every single UI window available while visible in a game state.
The people 20+ ilvls higher than you wouldn’t be joining if they could see your ilvl. Granted maybe they can once they’re in the vicinity of you, but you will never ever play in a team with those players doing stuff like that.
It’s not like it’s hard to do 6 M0s and 8 8s.
You got kicked for being behind?
Yeah I don’t believe you.

what is there to rush in this game aside from spam pulling easy content because it does no dmg and dies in 5 seconds
dungeons are basically 45 minute raids

Agreed, the ones that irritate me are the ones that flat out refuse to do anything to improve their toon. Like craft a weapon or actually get enchants. If they are actually trying I am all for helping them out
My post was mostly in jest

This post is too slow. Can we hurry with the replies?

If that happens, that guild aren’t your friends. Any guild worth being in is a guild of friends. Removal for something this petty is a net gain.
