I just want to play my class and have fun I feel like thats not too much to ask the class had so many problems before the rework and it was boring and just not fun. And now its Super boring and less fun, rogue feel gimmicky and not fun also I feel like times have changed and now other classes have more cc then rogues while doing 2, 3 or even 4 times more damage then rogues. just please blizzard give rogue a actal rework fix the problems we have just make it fun thats all im asking for please! Rogue feel awful in pvp.
Fun is subjective. Iâm having fun.
What donât you like about it though?
I think on the whole the majority believe the rework was decent.
What do you want changed or reverted?
Only thing I still donât like is maintaining slice and dice. Should be baked in. But thatâs just me.
Slice and dice is baked into Assassination spec and lasts forever on Outlaw spec.
is this how people say too lazy to learn new things these days
i like how you wrote your 100 word essay and never stated what you didnt like before and after the rework lol
tldr: i dont like stealthing as outlaww i wanted to be a leather fury warrior
other classes have more stuns then rogue while doing way more damage then rogues. you press two or god forbid three abilities and you lose all your energy which leads to gameplay of just standing and auto attacking while you watch other people have fun and play the game. all the of the meta builds focus on some weird gimmicky one shot. in pvp i dont pve
The assassination rework has been awesome overall. âRogueâ rework being a failure is way too broad.
I can empathize with the energy issues, but what other classes have more stuns than rogues? If you want things to improve, consider giving more specific and actionable feedback, imho.
Stating that the rogue rework as a whole is a âmassive failure,â when you really are only talking about one of three specs, in only pvp and not pve content is very misleading and exaggerated.
True.
Sinâs in a decent spot!
I cant talk for SubâŠ
But Outlaw?
For years the rage was all about too much RnG.
AtmâŠItâs never been worstâŠ! Like not even close!
Crackshot is a pain!
Oh we do dmgsâŠwe really do.
But we can only and exclusively spike based around a 35% chance on 6 second timed windows.
Other then that : poop dmgs.
Crackshot needs to be removed and Dreadblades needs be back.
Ive been loving that ability every time I could use it since day 1 Legion!
It was a HUGE mistake to remove it and an even bigger mistake to make Cracksot such a HUGE dmgs dealerâŠforcing us down a single Meta for dungeons.
Talent tree is fineâŠitâs just crackshot and HO are 2 abilities requiring weird gameplay.
Ive been saying it and ill be saying it until Outlaw gets reworked again :
Bring back dreadblades! âŠmake it an alternative to crackshot!(choosing between the 2!)
Outlaw mainly needs 2 things: less downs in the energy regen, and crackshot removing the CD on BtE when entering the crackshot window.
This. Or it needs some kind of small grace period of resetting the cooldown because too many times you find BtE on CD due to lag, even though it was still cast just inside the SD/Sub window.
A grace period wonât fix it, because thereâs still a human element, a server/client/input lag element, etc. Itâs still too punishing and people will just make a WA to take the grace period into account to squeeze one more cast in.
2, 3, 4 times the damage? Have you played assassination? Always seems to be on top of the meter
The easy fix would simply be to have SubWindow reset BtE CD everytime stealth triggers.
Most issues would be fixedâŠcorrect me if Iâm wrongâŠ
There is also the option of admitting that Outlaw did NOT need a new talent.
Crackshot/HO are too strong by themselves and forces outlaw down a Subtlety feel, killing its Identity, which should be closer to a toe-to-toe spec (Some will say Combat rogue, and I can hardly disagreeâŠcall it whatvr you want)
Crackshot was simply A new talent that was not needed in the least.
A concept that ââlooksââ fun, but thousands of players could come up with just ââas funââ ideas that will bring just as much dps output.
âŠCrackshot, on top of having to deal with it on a very tight timed window, is highly RnG and sometimes will give satisfactionâŠwhile other times wont proc for 2-3 BD RotationsâŠit feels bad, it feels awful, its frustrating and not as rewarding as it should be.
Dreadblades on the counterpart, was an awesome alternative and still should be an optional alternative to crackshot.
It was rewarding, 100% consistent and development should 100% have worked around that talent. It was bringing much needed consistency around a spec based on RtB RnG.
Personally I played dreadblades the entire season 2 and it was very very funâŠ
I am obviously excessively dissapointed they removed it
It was a very reasonable output of dmgs while making the rotations fast, steady, consistent with very rare on energy lack.
Imo crackshot needs too many fixâs to call it a good idea.
Latency also plays a huge hate factor on top of everything stated.
Simply bring a new idea or bring back dreadbladesâŠ
And PLEASE for the LOVE OF GOD!!! STOP MAKING OUTLAW SO MUCH BASED ON RNG!!! Its ben going on since Legion day 1 and its driving me insane!
Also : Giving the entire spec a subtlety feel is ALSO a HUGE mistake. It takes away the identiy of Outlaw and makes it something it isânt!
Blizz team just worked on Rogue specs and now everyone has something/flaws to point out about LawsâŠ
So many flawsâŠ
On another negative level : Changes wont likely come before next expansion. It feels so bad! I havent rerolled my class/spec since Legion, and I am finding myself wondering which spec I am about to play now, if I keep playing at all before next season/changes.
AnywaysâŠThx for readingâŠthat was a lot of frustration taken out at same time heh
True, I guess. But at the very least, It would prevent me from ever getting a BtE cooldown because it was used âout of stealthâ even though it was literally used from my stealthbar.
At least we still got Killing Spree though, right?
Right⊠yeah⊠killing spreeâŠ
woo.
But yeah, I loved Dread Blades back in SL S4.
Compared to the mage rework of 10.5 - itâs a failure
In the mage rework - they fixed the issues AND added playbility features that have went a long way.
With a rogue - theyâve shafted us. Outlaw is now shoehorned into one build only and talents like Acro are now impossible to take unless you wanna take a massive DPS loss.
No idea what blizzard was thinking with some of this garbage.
Youâve heard the expression about comparing apples to oranges right? Plus, the point still stands, the rework wasnât good for Outlaw and Sub, but to say it was a complete failure just isnât accurate. Most sin rogues I know are quite content, myself included.
Thatâs a skill issue
In the past we never had to choose between acrobatic strikes and dps. The DF talent tree rework made it so we had to pick between DPS and utility.
Imo this is a bad design.
still a skill issue
