I know. We were talking about what twinks did when scaling and spell changes ruined twinking in cata.
I mean you can assert than from ignorance having not been in the community, but that doesnt make it “real”.
or that when you enter a bg at 60 there will be twinks from raid gear. and you wont even be able to easily get that gear as you can in 19s 39s etc to be able to compete, so if they want to have fun pvping they will twink too in a lower bracket.
I personally enjoyed the community and know that most of us in it did not care about killing non twinks.
You have to be a knuckle head to have fun doing that.
We had fun killing other twinks for bragging rights.
No one cares that you killed a lowbie ungeared. Its all about who the best in the bracket is and you have to kill twinks to get that.
kill twinks, kill lowbies, stroke your epeen by being the best low level loser. None of that is what causes Twinks to be the worst thing in WoW.
It’s their attitude that they express to those that don’t play the game exactly like they do ‘You don’t belong in our battlegrounds as you are level x0-x8’ ‘if you don’t twink you shouldn’t do bgs at all !’ etc. etc. etc.
Kill lowbies or just pick easy fights on your 60, no different. Some twinks pick easy fights, others take pride in ganking those 5 or 10+ levels higher. Just like at level cap, there’s a variety.
Ill build a 29, 39, and 49. When i help people in the world in wPVP, im not bringing a 60 unless they have 60s trolling the lowbie zones.
If anyone in my guild is leveling, they’ll have a level appropriate bodyguard.
Might wanna tell the xpoff community twinking died in wrath(a decade ago) cause they still hold a twink cup. Must be undead.

What really happened was a bunch of noobs screamed twink every time they got wrecked in a bg because it was too fast for them. Instead of learning and putting effort into the accumulation of power they cried twink bad. Twink ruin my fun…
its kind of funny how emotional you sound and making up scenarios which you do not know if true or not so you can create a fake since of superiority.
A lot of us have or had mains better than your mains and twinks were done in the down time.
Twinking died due to Cata scaling, removing leg enchants which effectively removed 500 hp, and general spell sclaing revamp that made burst in the brackets unbearble.
I mean I can give you some links where people were talking about why they quit 7 years ago if you still want to make up the reason you want it to be.
@Doomoracle, were you a twink when xp off was added? Were you part of the twinking community? Did you try to queue as a twink at that time? I’m guessing those are all no. What you are suggesting is your opinion, speculation and a bit of parroting.
It’s amusing, the people in here trying to make twinks feel bad. It’s not working. Twinking is returning and it’ll be glorious!
You may have gotten wrecked in a couple of BGs and got emotional and caused you to stereo type. Thats human nature and I get it.
But its also human nature towant recognition and to get accolades from their peers.
Lets say you go out and buy a sports car. Whatever one you like. For me it would be a Ferarri 488GTB.
Once you or i got that sports car, it might be fun for the first time or two launching at a red light against a Honda Accord for kicks, but that would get old. I mean everyone knows you would win and there is nothing difficult about it. The car does all the work.
You wouldnt go back to your car club buddies and all of you high five for burning an accord. Not only would they not care, they would think you are an idiot.
You would want to go against equal cars and show who is superior. Lambo vs Ferrari. Ferrari vs McLaren. etc.
And even 488gtb vs 488gtb and show who the superior driver was.
That is what your car club would care about and give you accolades for.
Its literally the same thing in the twink community, and any community really because its human nature.
The people who only care about ganking players with no chance are literally the kind of person who would kick puppies and no one likes them. Not even the twink community.
Of course twinks were originally made to stomp 90% of the other “normal” players in their bracket, that isn’t rocket science. I don’t even get why you would even try to deny such an obvious truth.
Did some twinks like to fight other twinks? Absolutely. But nobody who made their first twink made it with that goal in mind. You made them to be a low level BG god. You made them because you saw another twink wrecking everyone in the lower level BGs and thought “That could be me!”
Trying to act like you are some self righteous twink who never attacked non twinks in BGs and only went after other twinks just makes you look silly and destroys all the good points of your other arguments. Everyone and their dog knows the truth, just own it.
They started building a community and holding a cup because ques were broke and twinkingbis fun. Most migrated to the same servers/battle groups to force games to pop because ques were broken in the XP off games.
