I would really like to see the return of our succubus having a knockback ability. I find it pretty difficult to find a use for this pet without it. Seduction is nice but since it removes the pet from being able to fight another mob while active it can’t really be used as a sap for pve content, it has its use in pvp content but even here I still usually opt for a different pet. The knockback that they had before provided great utility in both pve and pvp and I think would make this pet a more competitive choice all around. I could see picking this pet for fights like Skitra to stagger the wall of mobs and in pvp to knock back a rouge or other melee class or to create an opening for your flag carrier and so on. If you agree or don’t, please let me know and why.
How about the 50% movement speed reduction she can always keep on a target?
It’s nice but really sucks when you’re trying to fear someone away from you and they hobble 2 feet away before it breaks
Going to be amazing in arena when people literally can’t LoS.
the single target slow is definitely more useful in pvp, but the trade off is you lose your felhunter which has devour magic(remove 1 beneficial magic effect) and spell lock or you give up you imp which is ranged and has singe magic. both of those are strong enough in pvp that the succubus does not get used much. you can see how rarely it was used in AWC for example. The other thing to consider here is the scope of the ability. A single target slow has a very narrow band of usefulness in all content whereas things like interrupts and removing harmful magic from you character are useful across the board. The slow is definitely good but when weighing the options in M+, raid, and pvp I don’t feel it holds enough weight to make the succubus a go to choice for anything really.
With exhaustion and sacrolash coming back, succubus slow is going to be even more redundant.
LoS what? What are you even talking about?
In arena. LoS and pillar humping is a very big strat. Now warlocks can perma slow someone indefinitely. Forcing them to either not be able to LoS or not get in LoS of a team mate.
