Guys… this is happening. We all shall be back in the game we once loved! These forums need to start showing that again I hope classic wow AND retail does rather well together, for the future of Warcraft. I cannot wait to make random friends again in the world of warcraft and work towards a goal that will feel greatly rewarding to me (not saying retail does not have this, I’m sure it does! But it just isn’t my taste other then arena.) If anyone equally as excited for classic (new to it or not!) And plans on playing horde, I’ll share my battle tag, Cheers!
Only by you, and others who never played Vanilla. The real vets have always referred to Vanilla WoW as just that, Vanilla. Classic is a term brought about by the multitude of PSs that spawned when retail began to tank, and carried over when Blizz announced this project. #NoChanges
Never said you didn’t play Vanilla. I said it was a term used by you, and people who never played Vanilla. No need for you to self validate. As for the term, well, you’re just wrong.
This is one of those common sense crimes, you know, like stealing, where the police don’t need to be involved. You’re just the criminal that claims he was committing the crime for the “betterment of his family”. either way, you’re still in the wrong.
I was an original beta tester and still have the same account to prove it. In my opinion WoW died for me in Cataclysm. I now play on a private Wotlk Server and will not be returning to a subscription with Blizz until they go back to the drawing board and and give us a Classic WotLK Server and it would be nice if they released new content with the original world intact (NO CATACLYSM) as in WotLK version 3.3.5. I would be very interested if they came with new xpac avoiding Cataclysm and taking us down a new path and story line that keeps the original content and feel of the game in play.
I played original-Classic. I’ve never played a private server. I’ve never called a version of WoW “vanilla” in my life, and I don’t plan to start now; from what I’ve seen, Brack used it as a dismissive insult.
