It’s a cycle. Tank and/or healer satchel pops up and a flood of them queue up for it. Those tank and healer queues are now 15-30 minutes so it offers a DPS satchel. Tons of high ilvl DPS queue up, dropping tank and healer times back down to normal and sometimes triggers satchels again.

Also you get stuff for cosmetics and they’re a lot faster. Who is bothering to do heroics. Not to mention with a new season around the corner, what’s the point?

I know I was only running them for the rep weekly quest lol.
Absolutely no reason to run them otherwise, especially since siren isle exists for vastly better gearing, and tw for rewards.

I mean, if it comes to actual endgame content stuff and not vanity farming - Heroics are still > Timewalking.
The issue is that they’re still irrelevant in the gearing scheme because Delves and World Quests exist, among other things.
No one should be in a Heroic Dungeon unless they’re just bored tbh. Or doing a weekly that requires it I guess.

I’m not lol. Just checking in during some classic downtime. Idk about you but I don’t often see that so they must be desperate.
I can only speak about my Era server, but the population there is growing.
Herioic dungeons… when the season is about to end? Lol.
Retail is more than likely the most populous version of the game and I doubt it’s close.
It’s an automatic system that looks at the proportion of different roles and decides when a satchel should be offered.
People on other classic servers and modes say it’s busy there, but I have no interest in looking into that.
I know how the system works… no one is really doing heroic dungeons at the end of the season, there is no purpose.

I do Heroics because I like healing dungeons but I don’t like what doing M+ currently feels like. It’s basically my only option at this point if I like doing dungeons as a healer outside of M+. It’s not great, but I do it anyway.
Really hoping we get some better queuable dungeon content maybe?

Is it? Last I checked pop is under “low.” Probably because everyone is on fresh. I’m hoping Blizz will allow you to xfr your characters over to era so people can game together after they go off to TBC.
