I log in and open my map to look at the new arbitrarily large slop zone. Knowing it is irrelevant if I do any of the 30 world quest, 10000 side quests, or the new rep with 100000 new chroma cosmetics.

Do I bother doing the campaign and learn about the new characters? nah, the story will just be retconned by next expansion trilogy.

instead I go to my vault and ignore every option and choose the bonus roll I am forced to take. I drone through 8 Mythic + to get my +10ilvls for the week. I then spend 4 hours proggring on a boss mathematically designed not for fun, but so blizzard makes quotas and timelines.

am i winning son?

This is a video game, unless you are a streamer or something like that it exists solely for fun and entertainment. You are giving up your free time and money to do an activity for fun. If it is not fun, stop doing it. Simple as.

I will never understand folks who hate everything about the game but still log in every week to do their chores, then whine about not having fun. My brother in Azeroth you chose to log into a totally voluntary hobby, if you’re not having fun why are you doing that lmao. I guess just pure addiction at this point? Chasing that dragon of fun they once felt?

Forever players throwing around the word “slop” like their entire game isn’t just a bunch of re used assets from multiple classic zones just slapped together in a new sandbox and called a “new zone”.

Other zones are still the same. The same horrific class balance is still there.

The new dungeons/raids are literally just reskins with sometimes copy/paste npcs with a new name on them for bosses.

They copy pasted the wrath dalaran.

I dont think people that play wow are working for blizzard, they are so disconnected with what the players want
