I still think the worst offender was SoO with the WoD prepatch. SOOOOOOO many people who started WoD thinking they were high end raiders.

Flat 30% buffs/nerfs

An insane raidwide cooldown with a legendary ring.

Overcharged and buffed artificts.

Crazy corruption stacking.

No where near as game breaking.

Maybe because it wasn’t contained to raid content like the past, but we’ve had some pretty busted final tiers.

Every expac ends with guilds progressing partway through the final mythic raid who have no business doing mythic at all.

Exactly, and they almost always end up imploding within the first tier of the new xpac.

I soloed most content and only used a small amount of corruption, I’m doing fine.

Dragonsoul, Siege of Org, and Hellfire Citidael are the 3 that jump out in my mind where guilds who have no business deeply diving into mythic made significant progress due to large power gains and a fairly long tier.

Then they crash back to earth the next expansion.

You could say it did do them favors…it gave them the opportunity to maybe experience more difficult things with the corruption that they couldn’t do without it?

Yeah I don’t want to play a multi layer power scale of not only gear but essences,traits or corruptions but it looks like they are doing it again next expansion.

DS was a failed raid as it was the first time LFR was introduced, they didn’t know how to make a easy raid that could also be hard.
