The Relic's Emanation Bugged

I think that this daily is bugged. Or most of the crystals are bugged.

9 times in a row, I get to the 7th pattern, and the game just stops. It looks like a flame shoots out from the middle and the game ends.
At first I thought it was because I was accidentally clicking the middle crystal. I am sure that I am not.
Then I thought I was running out of time, but when there are 2-3 of the same colour in a row, that’s usually when it resets, but the timing of the rest seems random on the 7th pattern.
I know that Im putting in the correct order because I am writing it down, and I’m not taking any damage.
Others in the zone are saying they’re getting the same, while others are saying it worked fine.

I’ve never had this much trouble with this quest. I think it could be bugged?

okay I finally got it,
what happens is when the game starts to “bug out” you will click a colour, and it will start to cast “opening” instead of registering that you clicked the colour.
Cancel that cast and go for the colour again, it will work this time.
For the rest of the colours, you will click, it will cast “opening”, you will cancel and click the colour again to register it.

Pretty annoying because you lose track of your colour order, but that’s how I made it work

I had a heck of a time getting it to work too. Very frusterating, but kept doing it and finally got it to work. Not the mechanics, just bugged. I’ve done this quest 100 of times back in the day.

You have to wait for the blast wave of power to pass before clicking again. You’re going too fast.

The problem is the buttons become clickable briefly, become unclickable while the animation plays, then become clickable again.

The middle crystal’s clickable size is huge so if you click when the buttons are unclickable you’ll accidentally click the middle crystal instead.

Just wait a bit longer before clicking and it’ll work. The time limit is very lenient.

Bug: Relic Decharger Firing Early

I’m getting all the right clicks for the Apexis Emanations quest, and within fast pace, so we’ll remove that as a thing before people pipe up. However, after the 6th sequence, the Apexis Relic does it’s usual 7 tones for the next round but the moment the tones have stopped, it triggers the Relic Decharger as well. Since the Relic Decharger’s hitbox is huge, this makes it REALLY DIFFICULT to hit the sequence for the 8th round, required for the Daily, because you keep accidentally starting to cl…

Its initiating the “Add an Apexis Crystal to continue because you failed” timeout, when it shouldn’t.

I don’t really know if it’s bugged per se, but I officially hate this quest and have shelved it from the list I will bother with. It’d be nice for a QoL change by making the middle pillar no longer clickable when in use. That thing is so poorly designed that it’s extremely frustrating to try to click around.
