And the only reason you “like” Delves more is because they have an actual dedicated reward system tied to them that’s far more helpful to you than having to grind your weekly spooky soul ash currency like you did 4 years ago. The actual content of the delves has nothing on Torghast.
I thought torghast was pretty cool but I just casually dipped my toe in back during that expansion. Delves were aight also. If i had to choose between the two I would go torghast overall but I didn’t do them every week and I think that might have led to a lot of pushback. Hence the name choreghast lol
Torghast was too long. Each layer was too long and then you had to do multiple layers per level and if for some reason you had to stop you had to start at the start of the level again. And there were so many levels.
If you ended up with crap powers it was a horrible slog, it only became bearable if you got a good string of powers and just obliterated it.
And the esthetics were all horrendous. I never want to ever see that Maw style dungeon crap again so long as I live.
I do agree, I think. What I disliked about Torghast was it being part of the mandatory currency grind. But do I go back now and chain run it for cosmetics? Yep. Things could get goofy.
Delves are the same “dungeon” with different things happening in them each time. Sort of. It does get stale.
It was different. The fun part depends on the person. I actually enjoyed both, but delves is a step up due to actual loot and not being a required game play mode like Torghast was.
I do have to admit that pulling an entire floor as a Mistweaver monk and spamming vivify on myself to melt everything in seconds is a kind of ridiculous fun I don’t think I’ve experienced anywhere else in WoW.
