Love is in the Air is a time of date auctions, speed dating, and other romantic events, but having talked to people in the Wyrmrest Accord Community discord, it seems there’s some interest in an event that isn’t focused on romance. I figured I’d extend the invitation to the forums for anyone interested in a Friend Meetup.
This meetup is meant to celebrate the platonic side of love-- friends, family, comrades, pets, and hobbies, it’s all worth celebrating at the Red Scales Meetup. Whether you’re down on your luck romantically and can’t get in the mood for a singles auction, or never feel any desire to have a romance, or just simply want to celebrate your friends, come on down to World’s End Tavern on Friday, February 9 at 5 PM server time. Drop in at any time to declare your adoration for anything platonic, and perhaps meet a few new friends! We encourage new friends to show off their hobbies, pets, and skills as well, since love doesn’t need to solely be for other people. Indulge those life passions!
