The reason why vanilla was the biggest game on Earth was simple! No RNG and no time gates.
Uh…no It was the biggest because It was the first to do good MMO. Everquest was sh****
Lmao no RNG? Must’ve been playing a different game than the rest of us
It’s not Sunday.
There was plenty of RNG, and the game was also way friendlier than any other MMO at the time, with no loss of items or exp if you died. You also moved seamlessly through the world (on the same continent, at least), and then, the biggie, it was based on Warcraft, which was still a dominant game at the time.
PSs… no TBC, WotLK, Vainilla it’s nothing.
Nothing more that alpha project.
And because it was casual friendlycompared to their direct competitors.
Also things wetent timegated, things were grind your butt off to get this, to get that to open this dungeon that you will need to clear 4 time to unlock the raid.
What the hell are you talking about?
