Yes, really smart to lose the 3 millions subs they gained in Classic. Classic players aren’t ever going back to retail, sorry. Anyone who signed up for classic who has been gone for ages has 0 interest in retail. I think you are forgetting that Classic brought in an enormous revenue stream that has been gone for a long time. They have the funding now to put development into Classic+ content. There are a lot of unfinished raids and content in Azeroth that never saw the light of day.
