Nope don’t want the game to die far from it.
Pluss lets put that quote in context…

Pluss lets put that quote in context…
I played WoW back in vanilla and just recently picked it back up. I really wanted to like GW2, and then FF14. They were trash.
There’s a lot different with modern WoW, obviously, but the same people are singing its praises and hating.
Some things I was saddened to see have changed, some changes excited me. Some people may feel like the Devs aren’t listening, but the truth is that Devs can’t make everyone happy. Could some things be different? Hell yeah. Just means different people would be pissed.
WoW has the best numbers for a reason.
Ok lets say for example what is saying is true they are trying to make Blizzard hurts though its wallet then they are going about it all wrong. Unless EVERYONE who left WoW and are Still playing it are willing boycott ALL of Activsion’s games all that is going to result is activision pulling the plug on WoW and even they do that That could only mean they end up being bought by EA or a worse company or even going bankrupt.
I’d say more they are fans. I’ve been playing FF14 and forget about criticizing the game with that crowd. It’s far to be perfect and the community is actually very trash.
It’s nice for socializing but that’s about it. I recorded my rage quit of 14 because the entirety of Party Finder is cons you just RRP or RMT selling carries.
It doesn’t have enough to retain a midcore player base. WoW has flaws but fans also exists here. It’s just at least people are more more receptive to criticize WoW here, which is a good thing. Ignoring problems doesn’t help FF14 at all nor does their player base.
And ESO is just trash. I prefer killing time with Runescape or Phantasy Star when not around on wow.
Probably the only thing worse than ‘wow is dead’ threads are threads like these with 'how dare you criticize my game threads"
Gotta love the need to create conspiracies, deny subs have gone down with each expansion, and then discuss how much they hate the other MMOs that people celebrate. Everyone quitting are just people returning, even though subs continue their decline. Rest assured, there are plenty of players who will tell you how much they hate wow - go tell them your love of retail wow in the classic forums and you’ll get an ear full.
Posters who create these threads are just showing their own insecurities. They can’t handle the criticism because it must be striking some kind of fear they have, so they work against that by shouting how it’s still number 1, and the other ones are bad!
It’s a little immature to be honest.
Like seriously, if you are that satisfied with WoW and enjoying it that much, why is there a need to reinforce that feeling here?
Generally, anyone that feels the need to lash out against criticism is just showing their own insecurities.
Because I don’t want to wake up one day to find that the servers have been shut down and that is the direction WoW is heading right now.
…you underestimate the power of peer pressure.
Do you drench yourself in too much men’s body spray and do you still call your parents to tell them where you are if you don’t come straight home from school?
If you answer yes to either question: I understand now. Carry on. I’m done here.
If you answer no? I am now without words and am still done here.
People are craving for MMO fresh experience. That’s mostly the reality. The genre is stale, some studios tried to get their part of the bacon like Blizz did with heroes of the storm for the mona genre, which failed hardcore.
There’s not really any new development and a lot have been shutting down. Seems like a lot of people play out of MMO addiction. Remember when wow was a phenomenal? People bought computer to WoW. Not gaming, WoWing.
Do you drench yourself in too much men’s body spray and do you still call your parents to tell them where you are if you don’t come straight home from school?
So you cannot attack the argument so you attack the poster. Typical reaction of a person who has lost the argument.
The games not dying. It’s just a bit stale at the moment.
When 9.1 hits and subs fall below 2.5 million shortly after, tell me then how it’s not dying.
WoW may be more successful than other MMO’s but relatively speaking by wow’s own history, the population levels now are abysmal and they’re getting lower all the time. Anything less than 5 million active players for wow, is really terrible. Especially when you consider at least a 1/4 of them are bots or multiboxers.
You are on WRA …you must realize what this means …there will NEVER been an RP community like WoWs… if WoW dies RP as we know it goes with it.
Because I don’t want to wake up one day to find that the servers have been shut down and that is the direction WoW is heading right now.
No king rules forever
if WoW dies RP as we know it goes with it.
EverQuest says hi
To you it is for us Rpers is the Sundering.
Doesn’t matter if I’m on Wyrmrest Accord my guy. I don’t need to pay to change server when everything but mythic raiding is cross realm and crz upon party. I can’t care less about rp community it’s always drama.
I can’t care less about rp community it’s always drama.
Then of course you would not understand.
To you it is
It is what?
I don’t understand what? That server doesn’t matter since MoP?
Your equating WoW dying to simply the torch being passed but to us RPers the community as we know it is about to change and likely not for the better. But of course you would not a digital dragon killed in one game is no different than one killed in another.
I don’t understand what? That server doesn’t matter since MoP?
Because you do not Rp
I don’t want WoW to die at all. In fact it will take many years for that to happen. What I will say though is WoW had a winning formula in older expansions and I wish they would just go back to that. I think its more than fair to voice an opinion like that. Just as you are entitled to voice your opinion in the opposite direction.
