The first, problem is that animal characters like vulpera drive too many people to Horde, which in my opinion is not at all acceptable, that there needs to be a balance between Horde and Alliance, and to me there is a universal standard of ‘cuteness’ and Horde now has a higher cuteness-market value, it’s just the simple truth, when Pandas came out it was bad enough, but at least because Pandas can be both Alliance and Horde it didn’t split up the player base too much.
That said, I am not a fan of too many animal characters on Alliance, the problem with too much anthromorphism, is that some people take it too far, we give animals unrealistic expectations to live up to, and I just feel that things are getting out of control with people no longer accepting who they are as people also, and that’s not something I’m comfortable with
The Horde never really needed anything than cute blood elf girls as let’s be honest, they are hot, plain and simple, a little on the anorexic side but that’s about it that was more than enough to even things out a bit. The furry obsession though just really is disturbing the balance, and Alliance will fall further behind, it didn’t matter when the only animal characters in the Horde were Tauren as let’s be honest Tauren aren’t at all attractive, I admit that I rolled a Tauren first because I played WC3 and liked their lore and that’s about it.
I just think that Horde shouldn’t have any more animal races, and my preference would be to give the Alliance a new allied race that’s so attractive and beautiful that people will be dying to roll them to balance things back out
…what? No, really. I know this comes off snarky but… what? I don’t understand how you have any of these ideas because we have spacegoats and talking steak.
Let’s just put it a different way. Anyone who is sexually attracted to a video game character is just weird plan and simple, but if that’s what some one likes then whatever it makes them happy so I’m happy. I still find it weird, but it has nothing to do with me and I honestly could careless(other than thinking it’s weird obviously). Plus I tend to play female toons more because of the size of them in game. Some of the males are just too big and clunky and I don’t really like their animation. unless it’s the glorious human or orc which both are perfect in every way.
The Vulpera aren’t bad, it’s the people that play them that makes that race seem obnoxious. Beside both males and males are adorable, but the females are more adorable. They just look like Fennec foxes standing on two legs wearing clothes to me.
I think you’re overthinking it to be honest because not every thing is about sex. Nothing wrong with any of the races(except Void Elves) unless some one purposely makes one just so they can go to the bathroom and rub one out.
