Because there’s gold buyers in way more abundant
And nobody is gold sinking
They are only trading within each other with on the occasion buying flask if they don’t have someone making it for them
Trading gold between characters does nothing and the gold continues to stay in the system
It’s called inflation
Can’t imagine why that would be.
Only need one.
There’s only one reason a player would still need [a lot of] gold after having their mount and pre-bis gear in classic.
How to get that gold?
Buy it.
Do a GDKP with people who bought it so you can get some of that sweet sweet RMT gold without the account ban risk.
People literally are not interacting in game because of GDKP. Put the known truth of RMT and gold buying aside.
They raid, earn enough gold to not interact or leave the main cities, raid log, rinse repeat.
They don’t farm mats, they don’t do anything to help the economy level out or game if anything they exasperate the inflation because of the GDKP gold buying. Now there’s less people in the world running around and the game feels dead. Or they make alts pay for dungeon grinds from bought gold and ruin the lvling experience. And again spending zero time in the world. Then the same jokers post “50 people dead server”. Such a joke
It’s like a McDonald’s worker wanting 15$’s an hour, sure sounds nice for no experience, but now your burgers are 9$’s instead of 4 or 5. And everyone is screwed.
