Unlike gdkp, which people hate without even trying one just bc people are new to classic and dont understand why it became popular. Loot council is very much a learned hatred. If you get passed over for loot as a top parser/top healer/damage dealer to the gm’s buddy or girlfriend it gets old real quick. Ive spoken with players who have ran with the same guild all through mc and bwl until they gquit and started running gdkp bc they never got a single raid drop. This crap is very real and happens when you trust a stranger on who deserves loot.
No they are worse because out of your entire player base they have over 2x less raids killing heroic LK than Benediction.
They are also worse at pvp.
And lets be honest the horde on Grobb are carrying.
They hate them because they increase RMT, bots, and ruin the game economy.

Just because you do it doesn’t make it true for everyone. Let’s not get anecdotal here. There couldn’t be successful GDKPs without geared people who carry the group. A lot of people join GDKPs on their mains so they can get the gold since they don’t need the gear. Let’s be real here.
They aren’t at all deflated. World BOEs go for tons of gold, even when there are 20+ on the AH. BFD blues still sell for a high price.
