For me, it’s not that it’s down for hours at a time. I mean, that sucks, yes, definitely.
But the problem for me is that they have no idea how to ESTIMATE THAT DOWNTIME. And they MUST know more than 1 minute before it’s scheduled to end that it’ll be another 2 hours, or whatever increment they extend by.
The problem is that they either are:
*too incompetent to legitimately calculate the time it will take
*too heartless to just give us a maximum time, and then say “it could be up before this time”
*too unaware of how the process is going in real time and not extend maintenance at the very last minute by a comparatively HUGE amount
Regardless of the reason, what gets MY goat is that I cannot PLAN my playtime. I’d be a much more content customer if I was just not lied to and could PLAN reasonably around this company and its maintenance schedule.
(And btw, maintenance should be added to the in-game calendar weeks in advance.)
