The Real Premade Fix

Premades should only ever be matched with other Premades.

Yes, you heard me.

The queue should only match Premades with other Premades, and it should never attempt to match Premades with non-Premades, even if it means a match is never found.

Because here’s the truth: Premade queue times do not matter and should never be accounted for, especially when premades ruin the entire experience of bgs for the overwhelming majority (read: near entirety) of the playerbase, and it’s about time you devs realize this.

There is no reason for the devs to accommodate premades in any form. Period.

how many people equal a premade?
2? 3? 4? 5?

can it be a 2-player premade against a 4-player premade or only equal-size?

only equal size.

so if we queue with 4 the game wont pair us against a 5man premade? sweet!

Like were you sitting there and a light bulb went off and you thought “I finally solved it! I know how to fix premades” then you rush to your computer to make this post?

… this post…

this post that has been posted multiple times a day since BGs were released? \

Vanilla was dominated by premades of the top guilds before xrealm BGs were released. Just because you hit 60 after Naxx patch and didn’t see any top lvl bgs until 1.12 after xrealm doesn’t mean that there weren’t premades for most of vanilla.

except there are million of reasons in mmo game. period

You shouldnt be able to queue as a group with anything less than a full group. Accommodating partials is what makes a lot of modern game matchmakers wonky as heck.

Why do we need to accommodate for the PvP version of retail LFR players? You’re trying to play WoW Classic as a solo player and it should be adequately inefficient.

Why should unhealthy habits be allowed in game? The toxic mentality of players playing 20 hours a day mindlessly curbstomping pugs should be condoned? Premade should be against premade, pug should be against pug. The honor should be the same for both playstyles.

All these anti-premade threads really begs that question: “What’s stopping you from making your own?”

I get that being anti-social makes working as a team difficult, but what this post is effectively saying, is that Battlegrounds (a team based effort), should be catered more towards solo players, than teams.

Doesn’t that sound a bit backwards? Is it any surprise, that a coordinated team, would come into a team based game, and stomp a bunch of lone wolves? Why would Blizz need to cater to those lone wolves?

Source pending? You have some statistics for me to back up that statement?

Because from what I can tell, every single person who takes WSG seriously, enters it in a premade–full stack, carrying consumes, engi trinkets on deck.

Stop attributing your inability to network with your fellow players and server community (in an MMO no less) to everyone around you. There are plenty of us without this problem (read: near entirety).

Premades should only be matched with premades, I agree.

To offset the additional work that goes into making the full premade - the premade players should be making more honor per day than pug players.

Citation needed also.
Some of us only have an hour or so a day to play video games. There is a single player que for us to join. Why is there a single player join button if not for single players? If we spend time looking for premade groups to join then we must fit into the roster they want. Then they prob will not let you join because you only have limited time to play.

Quit being a crybaby and make friends.

Alternatively go back to retail

Ive already got friends in RL and they think WoW is a nerds game.

Have some balls and fight other premades in your premades.

Sarcasm doesn’t translate well over the internet, but for clarity, my statement was a tongue in cheek reflection of OP’s completely contrived “statistics”.

Noted, but length of time available for play doesn’t really have any bearing on how you play. I’ve hopped into full premades for a game or three when I needed just a little bit of honor to cap out.

There absolutely is a single player queue to join. But just because you can do a thing, does not mean you should expect favorable results from doing that thing.

You can walk into UBRS, or Scholomance, or Stratholme completely solo as well. The option’s there. I suspect however, if you take the time to form a team, you will perform better than if you were to attempt the dungeon by your lonesome.

The only real difference here, is that the NPCs will not complain on the forums when they are getting curb stomped by your dungeon premade group.

I see this recurring theme come up alot, and it’s not only about PvP premades, it applies to group PvE content as well. The theme is simply this—“I can’t get into a group, because of X, and that is unfair.”

The solution of course, is to make your own group. I’m a Warrior, this makes getting into a PvE group pretty easy, but have you ever tried to get into a WSG team as a warrior? There’s a million of us. Basically every WSG premade on my server is led by a warrior. This is because we had to make the group ourselves in order to get a spot.

I promise you, if I have the ability to get on a Discord server and type “LFM WSG premade stomp session, PST Ragefist in-game, please bring consumables and be PvP specced”, and then respond to DMs accordingly, so do you.

The game has been the same for 15 years.

If you want limited premades play retail.

You cry babies already ruined that version of the game.

At least leave one version of the game alone.

Perhaps you misread the limited time to play. No it was not sarcasm it was asking for citation just like you asked in your previous comment.

No one wants to limit premades, they want them to play premade vs premade. The problem poopsockers have is that its not easy honor farming and not efficient for them. They do not want pvp, they want meta honor gains. The single players just want to play for fun and not get curbstomped by no life rankers.
