The real Legendary, Gavel of the First Arbiter!

With all the talk of the two handed axe drop rate it made me think of when I got my Gavel from Jailer in Shadowlands. It was a huge power spike and it was cool and unique with an effect that fitted the theme. It wasn’t even a Legendary and yet had the power of one! Plus it looked cool as hell!

I always liked the Legendary design in Legion, BFA and SL. Everyone got them in a timely fashion so that allowed Epic quality gear like Gavel to rise to the power of a Legendary item when needed without being locked behind a low percentage drop rate. What about the trinkets in Antorus or the insane corruption powers on some Ny’Alotha weapons? Those were the days!

Legion, BFA and SL were the best expansions!

If it wasn’t for the craft leggos of SL, Gavel should have been a Legendary, but guess it woulda looked bad if we had back to back Str leggo weps.

Never got the Gavel to drop in S3 either, we seen none across our guild in S3 - we all bought them in S4 from the vendor.

The only one that did drop in normal in S4 we gave to a warlock so their pet could weild it from their bag.

That would be awsome to see a warlock pet weilding raid epics

That’s unlucky. I got mine in S3 and decided to buy it in S4. I think I saw it once in the vault when I already had it haha!

Till this very day Gavel is the strongest 2 Hander in the game’s history. the Ax is “ok”

That was the worst legendary system in existence.

100%. I didn’t hate it on my hunter as much during Legion because I could get pants that let me finish my Mage Tower challenge by just standing there doing nothing. That was it though.

Hell ya, Gavel! Used it today actually on my lvl 60 warrior.

Killed what I’d pulled, then realized I hadn’t killed the little soul to get the mace buff. Derp!

This makes me want to hurt someone after I spent three months hitting a wall with the healer challenge as a Resto Druid. :sob:

Sorry.
