You miss the point. It’s the principle. Most people wouldn’t care if you made it illegal to drink root beer soda, but simply telling people they can’t do it will create a massive amount of rage. It’s not worth it. If people want to drink root beer, let them, if not they won’t.
Don’t tell me how to live my life if I want to play 24 hours a day I will I hate people like you go apply to the Chinese government or something if you want to dictate how others live their life.
Rank 10 can be had easily - about 8k honor a week and you will get there. Beyond that your ranking value is much more important than simple honor
You make a suggestion that mirrors what they do in Communist China …
Your argument is invalid.
nobody wants to play 18 hours a day. Nobody. Most ppl who did r14 in a legit way, quit like right after. If you play 18 hours a day, it is 90% chance you are account sharing. I would 100% rather have a system that rewards skill than account sharing.
France limits the work week to 35 hours. Last time I checked they weren’t communists there. The argument is valid. Saying the idea is ‘communism’ and therefore invalid isn’t a real argument anyway.
does blizzard have a gun to players head forcing them to go r14?
No, they don’t.
If you don’t want to r14, dont, simple as that.
This entire argument comes from the toxic retail mindset that you deserve to be able to have everything available to you.
R14 will be forever out of reach for the majority of players, myself included, and guess what, THATS FINE!
Excellent point Antimage.
France PAYS its workers. Blizzard doesn’t PAY its players.
Go back and re-read my post. You said I should feel bad for supporting an ‘oppressive’ system yet you suggested an idea that was put in place elsewhere by literal communists.
I was pointing out the irony, which apparently, flew right over your head.
I burnt out like week four of the system. I got boots for speed and i was like playing any more pvp is not for me. I never got past legionaire since raiding took much less time to get purps. Boots are the only thing druids and shaman must get.
I hardly think playing 12 hours a day for 7 days a week is “having everything available to me.” Most people have obligations that they cannot meet by playing even that much a day. But playing 18+ hours a day is simply unhealthy. How long before some dies because of this?
yup, and how they catered to people like this to change on retail. We don’t want that same thing in Classic. It’s what made retail what it is now. So OP stop trying to bring it here.
Why are you so concerned with what other people do with their life and why do you feel you have authority to dictate everything?
Get a life.
Very few should get purps. That is the way it is. I got mc gear first week i was 60. I still scatch my head how little raid gear i see in the wild. See it mostly on the pvp gank groups.
OP replied to you and I agree.
Also, raiding is easy and epics are easy, lets not pretend this game is hard anymore. This game is 10x easier than retail PvE-wise. PvP players are basically shafted in vanilla… just like all expacs tbh…
I used be a no lifer living with grandmama getting unemployment checks for three years. I have seen the dark side of the internet. Played wow since oct. 2005 on and off. I wanted to go ham on classic but I’m 32 now and I ain’t getting any younger. Need to start a family instead of getting R14
You don’t get it. Got 70-80k honor in a week and barely ranked from 3 to 4. I think people getting 40-50k honor have lost rank and can’t even sustain rank 3.
This is not a pvp game. Its a fun mini game to do between raids.
I knew I should of just played hello Kitty in 2005
You missed out
