The RAID is Timegated

if blizzard is keeping track of time “in story” how long have been in shadowlands for? because that is really unclear at this point. how does having meaningful time in 1 patch make sense when it hasnt made sense for the whole xpac? Have we been there for a year? does a week equal a day? will this raid give us some sort frame of reference that we can put that together? Historically time in Wow has been mostly irrelevant, why is it relevant for this 1 patch?

While I literally do not have a horse in this race, and could not care less about the raid schedule, that just confirms that yes, absolutely the raids are time-gated.

Whether or not this is a thinly veiled twisting of the words, is up to how over the time-gating of the entire game people are.

Isn’t it literally 3 bosses for 1 week? Am I missing something?

Dont act like you were going to get AOTC week 1

I will ALWAYS point out BS or bad design. This is not one of those cases. Good job and hope to see more of this.

mechanics were fun. I’ve gold capped 5 times selling carries lmao, sounds like it was too hard for you

It’ll just start a week later than usual. From my understanding Mythic isn’t suffering this limitation and it shouldn’t since the idea of Mythic is you clear Heroic to unlock the difficulty. Meaning you’ve done the wait once already, no reason to sit it a second time around.

They have been time gating Raids for a very long time.

This is nothing new.
