For example for the main story quest Talon Strike when you enter the zone you get literally a button that appears on your screen.
Problem is that quest button that appears a lot for other quest too is not movable and is literally on my action bars. It then blocks from seeing cooldowns and stuff.
Just add that button in the edit mode so we can move it ?
Weird I swear I moved that button because it kept popping up in SL when I re-subbed during prepatch. Now you got me worried that DF uses a different one that can’t be moved, that would be a real pain to deal with.
Same problem here. Even just making it smaller or removing the extra art around the button would help, as it all blocks my UI. I had to undo my setup in order to access my action bar again. Still partially blocked.
Having the same issues with a lot of quests that use that pop-up button.
Would make sense if they added it to the edit mode function, I don’t understand why that wasn’t already the case.
EDIT:
In edit-mode the “extra abilities” button should do the trick. At first it looks like it’s for something else but try moving it around when you encounter the pop-up quest button and it should work!

For me, my issue ended up being caused by the addon Kaliel’s Tracker.
Had to turn off the “Enable Active button” for the quest item buttons.
I’m here trying to find an answer for the same problem. It’s getting on my nerves for a long time now. I have tried edit every time I’ve played to see if they have added it to the moveable objects. Please #Blizzard add to edit tomove it…pretty please
I may have SOLVED this. For me, it wasn’t wow putting the spell up but my quest tracker add-on “Kaliel’s Tracker”. This spell would pop up dead center and in the way. I couldn’t move it with wow UI edit or the add-on “Move anything” so I used /fstack to figure out what the button was called and I realized it was put there by “Kaleiel’s Tracker” a separate add-on I have. I was able to go into the add-on settings and move the quest button easily.
