The problem with playing alts

I have a DK that I main mostly, she has blacksmithing and mining. I did the assaults in Uldum, got the void focus & other bs recipes and all I need are the void splinters.

Last week I made a mistake and after I was all set to start getting the splinters, I swapped out to my DH and did the assaults.

Now I have 10 soulbound splnters on my DH who is an enchanter and none on my DK.

Why these are soulbound, Idk but they are. Anyway, the moral of this story is think twice before you swap out toons, check to see which quests are active beforehand otherwise you end up like me.

Now I have to wait for those mobs to come back. pfft.

That’s ONE problem of playing alts. Another problem is it turns you into a crazy, raving lunatic.

I have over 20 but I only play 5 at the most and now, only 2. As time goes on I’ll probably play my warlock, too.

It’s not so bad but damn I hate it when I screw up like that.

Playing alts in 8.3 doesn;t work. thanks blizz devs (if you really want to call them that) for grinding this game into oblivion.

Not if you already were one to begin with.

I’m also down to playing 2.

I’ve got the splinters too! Just haven’t gotten around to the quests…

The splinters are only for blacksmiths, I think. If you’re a blacksmith, get the recipes and you can make high level gear.

So much gold in that, too. I’m slavering but I screwed myself up and now have to wait a week or more, not sure. The k’thir have to be back in the game.
