Deadly brew now applies instant poison as though you had it on your weapons even if you don’t. And every time you apply instant poison it applies deadly poison.
That’s great and all but you can’t use envenom with it…envenom doesn’t work without actual poisons on your weapons…making deadly brew almost useless.

naw being able to play new stuff is nice…saber slash is great…but breaking mut rogue after doing all this to put it in is super stupid.

that’s because it takes deadly poison stacks…and you can’t get those stacks unless instant OR deadly are on the weapon, they gave the effect of weapon having instant poison effect even if you don’t have poisons on weapons so you don’t lose too much DPS if you are farming or run out of poisons during a raid / dungeon OR you can’t AFFORD more poison materials…there’s nothing wrong with deadly brew at all.
It also allows your poisons to scale off of AP, how is this bad?
normally to use envenom you have to have poisons on your weapons…deadly brew functions to have poisons work on your weapons without having to apply them(this is usefull because poisons run out of charges mid fight but with deadly brew that doesn’t happen)
You clearly have no idea how deadly brew functions lol…go read it again and come back once you comprehend it better.
I think the perk is mainly for going no poison on main hand when grouped with Windfury, and for when you run out of charges mid-fight. It isn’t intended for you to never use poisons.
wrong…you dont need to concern yourself with no poison on your mainhand because you get windfury from druids now. People just don’t understand how mutilate rogue works. You fly through poison charges because you have 75% instant poison uptime through every fight. It’s super easy to use up all you charges and applying poisons mid fight would be a very large DPS loss. Mutilate rogue was put in later when poison charges no longer existed. The fact that this talent is in, and mutilate AND envenom says to me that mut rogue was basically soft coded into classic SOD.

Envenom absolutely works without actual poisons.
I use plater and can see my deadly poison stacks and get the full damage out of envenom with 5 cp/5 doses. This is with Deadly Brew and no poisons on weapons.
I am 99% sure you have not completed the poisons quest line. You can not use the Deadly Brew runewithout the actual poison skill.

What level are you and have you done the poison quest?

it means you dont need to put poisons on your weapons and you get the same effect. So yes…esentially you can have windfury and poisons.
Yes it does. I’ve been using it no problem.
Unless Details is lying to me… I haven’t been seeing tooltip damage, or even close, for Envenom.
