The quest The problem with wontaining a death loa is bugged. The guy that needs to be killed, Zel’han the Summon is immune. This problem has been going on for two days. I really need him to come back to normal, and be attackable, so I can finish my covenant. I’m sure others are having this problem as well.

I tried doing this quest yesterday and he was like you said, floating in the air immune and evading. I came back today and he is still there. You cannot progress the Night Fae storyline w/o killing this NPC. It is a bit ridiculous that it is taking Blizzard this long to reset 1 mob.
P.S. Blizz your reporting system is disjointed an frustrating. And you actually put in your help page to reference Wowhead. Your company is taking our money, why not take the responsibility that comes along with it.
Having this same problem. The quest guy that needs to be killed is still floating in the air invulnerable. I can’t do the quest.
Same issue. Its been 4 days now. Still no answer. Should not take 5 days to fix 1 bugged mob. Very disappointing.
Go to Stormwind/Orgrimmar, turn on Warmode if its off, or off if it’s on, and go back to Nazmir. It will have reset into a new phase and be available.
Same issue, still not fixed.
WM on/off worked for me.

How is this still bugged nearly 3 months later? Ran into this bug playing an alt and had to go back to Org and turn on WM to get it to reset so I could complete the quest.

still bugged, undeath barrier is on him and he floating. can’t complete the quest this way if can’t even target him.
How is this still an issue.
I had the same problem. I went to Stormwind, turned on Warmode, went back and he was able to be attacked.
