lets see… Horrible rage regeneration, lack of decent mobility unless you spec for it, now i know a ton of you are gonna point to charge and heroic leap and intervene, but hear me out on this, when you are fighting another class your mobility depends on their ability to get away from you or crowd control you and thus my problem is too many classes have better mobility or just as good mobility(hunters,monks,rogue,Demon Hunters, Hell even palidans , druids) and more crown control than warriors(mages,locks,priests,druids,hunters) and or the ability to crowd control to an extreme amount. We do have intimidating shout, but that’s it . Storm Bolt is an absolute necessity in pvp, warriors are hard locked into it, and there is another problem, you have to choose between self heal, mobility or a stun while every other class has at least one of those. I know a ton of people are gonna say warriors don’t need self heals but every other class has it, so when one does not have it ,it creates and obvious imbalance and no damage mitigation does not make up for it , yes warriors are bursty but so is every other class and they have just a good of a burst or even better and they can either heal or stun or cc better baseline, objectively we got the worst burst in the game, its slow and well very situational. Hur hur execute phase.Warriors are good but they pale when stacked up to other classes.
So things that wont fix this class: Rerolling to another, ignoring it, saying warriors scale with gear since every darn class scales with gear, saying warriors do good with a pocket healer, every class does good with a pocket healer. Saying go play classic, i already play classic and yes its much better but that wont fix retail warriors.
Also imo the talent tree for arms is incredibly boring, like idk if its just me but they did very little with the class, its so simplistic and boring.
Things i believe will make shadowlands warrior better:
reduce the rage requirements a little or increase the rage regen, or bring back the ability to gain rage when taking damage.
Reduce the cool down of charge to 15 secs or make charge stun again, yes i know people will point to storm bolt but, hear me out on this if charge has a stun we wont be hard locked into storm bolt anymore!
Make Rend baseline and reduce its rage cost, why is it 30 rage? and does so little dps?
Make impending victory baseline? Or at least make ignore pain useable while stunned or this make mortal strike useable by one hand melee weps so when in a pinch we can swap to sword and shield for a little extra defense.
Maybe just maybe make avatar baseline? idk what to say, i now only use it to get out of roots or movement impairment affects just like bladestorm, i gotta save those for all the ridiculous cc other classes have and i still get cc to death.
The legendary effects are not that good, make one that’s good lol.
All in all i can conclude the warrior class is poor made and not polished at all.
p.s i can only comfortable beat under-geared peeeps or peeps that don’t know what they are doing or peeps that don’t have their cd’s.

Charge, Intervene, and Heroic Leap, all baseline, is already mobility the likes for which a Retribution Paladin would turn Lich King, die, and be resurrected in hopes of becoming a Warrior.
Admittedly that is a bit of a shortcoming. I’d sooner revise the Victory Rush mechanic itself than request, say, making Impending Victory baseline, though, even at a lower %HP. We already have Ignore Pain, after all.
Other classes aren’t Warrior. You can’t transfer powers or argue their deservedness, without taking the class context into account.
Agreed. We are in the upper half, though. Arms has the best WDPS scaling in the game, and some very high Mastery and Crit scaling, while still having above average Haste scaling.

Arms warriors are ranked #1 in 2v2 and 3v3 arenas. They’re literally the best PVP class in the game. Game isn’t balanced around 1v1.
you’re missing the point of my argument, Also I’d rather give more credit to that pocket healer for doing most of the work for this since they have to work their asses off to even keep you alive and stay alive themselves. Give them some props they don’t get appreciated much. They are far from the best pvp class in the game since there are other pvp elements other than arena, what i see is an imbalanced class that becomes ridiculous when paired with a pocket healer in a NICHE circumstance and becomes somewhat useless when they don’t have one.
What spec doesn’t need a healer and gear to do well in arena? There are only a handful of double DPS comps that actually do well at high ratings, and in 3s every team has a healer.
If you want more uptime, go Venthyr and take Death Sentence.

Great you agree with me on that. Unhinges is meh since I’m not gonna use bladestorm to dps in most situations, I’ll be using it to break a root then promptly ending bladestorm to get my butt to that healer or whomever I’m targeting since if they’re not braindead they will be out of range, sephuz is meh LOL, i do like exploiter but that’s really only good for venthyr.
Imo storm bolt should be baseline (prot has shockwave).

Which legendary do you consider good? Exploiter is nice , but with the new buff it may or may not be too OP but you know what if other classes can two shot geared characters why not warriors. The thing about palidans is they can heal ridiculously, bubble and bubble and bubble and melt someone down faster than butter in the amazon, has a baseline 6 sec stun, did I mention bubbles? I mean it wouldn’t hurt for blizz to actually put some elbow grease in the arms spec and talent tree.

I’m going to assume your focused on pvp cuz most of it seems related.
Rage is fine. Pve and Pvp. Haste build solves the issue. Crit build solves the issue.
The legendary for mortal strike to proc and be 15 rage less… I have almost to much rage and need another button to dump rage. (spamming ignore pain).
Mobility. Venthyr has it. Execute charge all day, teleport, charge, intervene, heroic leap. its enough. CD reduction on charge should be considered or give us back the root/stun charge effect.
Also necrolord brought back old avatar from MoP. (15secs of almost unstopable awesomeness)
And Kyrian keeps mutiple targets in place for us to beat on.
Stun - a base line stun is needed and should be a thing not a talent. With that said, warrior has to much utility in pvp at the moment and some of it would need to be removed to compensate us with 2 stuns.
Avatar - Needs to be baseline. Almost every class has a baseline major CD that isnt on the global CD. Warriors having to spec into avatar is dumb if we don’t spec into it we don’t have anything else.
Defensives… - I mentioned utility already, warriors are for the most part good. Die by the sword, ignore pain, spell reflection, defensive stance… etc.
I wish ignore pain had a shorter cd, rage reduction or buff on absorbtion though. OR bring back a better version of 2nd wind.

Legendaries - *First, for pvp legendaries are huge part of our utility BUT…
Still need work. In beta we were going to use a generic legendary it was so bad. Executioner is nice but we got no love in pvp cuz people were scared.
PvE it still sucks to Kings legendary.
When 2 legendaries become a thing we might see a huge spike with MS legends tho as the combo looks unreal compared to other classes.
Conclussion:
Warrior is a poor class design for PvE due to MS doing no dmg, stealth nerfs on execution legendaries/conduits and our MS conduit being to low on procs.
For PvP: Warrior is feared for its utility and steady dmg and is rather strong in good hands. But I want my one shot button. I will accept nerfs on utility to one shot people consistently.
