I wonder what could go wrong when blizzard give 2 spec’s really really overpowered externals that are pretty much a must in all higher keys ??.

holy paladin was too difficult for me to play in Shadowlands with any level of competency. I don’t think the playstyle has become easier at all.
About Holy paladins, you might be playing it badly so you think it’s easy but great hpals are still very very skilled.

It’s all fun and games until Dratnos and his buddies rank BM hunter as D-Rank and now nobody wants to play with me even tho I have painfully reached KSH.
The reason many healers are rerolling aug for the title push is the skill ceiling is easily half as high. Yes even hpal

Problem is if you have any other DPS die it’s like two died because now you are loosing that DMG and part the aug DMG through buff. If anyone dies on a boss in keys it is Horrible.
I do remember, and my mistake was not playing DH. I won’t make the mistake again, my stupid evoker is ready.
Any dps is easier than healing atm.
Most evokers went deveststion before Aug to push high keys as well

I don’t think many healers are doing that. Easier for a dps to reroll to an evoker, and a healer to reroll to an h paladin than for a healer to reroll as an augmentation evoker. Someone still has to heal.
I would propose that this is a symptom of the real issue: The format of M+.
It’s a teething period, Augvokers are the first of their kind, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more classes get something similar. But yeah, the problem is likely to be exacerbated by having more augmentation specs added, since you’re only going to want one augmentation spec in a small group so you’d simply take the best, since the nature of M+ demands trying to find the optimal class makeup. So now you’ll grab the best tank, the best healer, the best support, the best dps, and the best dps that brings the best utility.
How to fix that issue? Hell if I know. But it’s been the core issue of M+ since it was “figured out”. It just isn’t a prominent issue until you reach higher level keys, and as more positions becomes hard locked, which Augvoker has done.
