The pre-patch is perfect!

It is perfect.

It is the following:

  1. not compulsory
  2. a small amount of repeatable content that can for the most part be farmed.
  3. contains catch up gear for low ilvl alts
  4. has a guranteed 115 ilvl weapon.
  5. has the same amount of story and content as other pre-patches.

If you think this is worse than other pre-patches you need to check your privilege.

This isn’t a major content patch. It isn’t the expansion. It tells as much story as any other pre-patch.

This pre-patch is perfect and inline with every other pre-patch. The people complaining need to get real

At least they need to lower their inflated expectations. It’s 2020, after all. Employees have been working on this from home during a pandemic and wildfires near the office for the few that do have to be in-house.

Should be thankful we are getting an expansion at all, considering how other avenues of entertainment have been pushed to next year.

they could just add the Legion one again but make all demons undead
I guarantee on my mother’s soul that it would be a better prepatch

But to not expect complaining is unreal

This is just false. I’m fine with this pre patch because I’ve just chosen not to play it. But to say it is perfect and can even hold a candle to previous pre patches? Well that’s just not true.

I’d rather they push it back if content is not good. I don’t know how Shadowlands is currently looking, but I’d much rather they not throw it out when its not ready.

Get out of here with that garbage. Paying customers have every right to voice there opinion without “checking privilege” If this was a F2P game with free expansions you might have a case.

Yes it is perfect if you want to play other games while doing it. Blizzard was really thoughtful to my desire to play Yakuza Like a Dragon while waiting on rare spawns.

Legion pre-patch was miles better.

I understand that covid + SL dev crunch is why the prepatch is what it is, but the new quests we DID get could have been designed better and there’s no excuse for that.

The mushroom quest was almost custom-made to mine salt and the ghoul vehicle quest feels like it came from a Cata time portal.

Eh, it’s ok. BFA’s pre-patch was shorter.
I just wish they gave us non-warfront recolors, BFA gear design is extremely boring

its just 2 weeks worth of content it’s not supposed to be this hardcore bs people want it’s mainly like a pro logue going into SL and this is what many don’t understand.

this is why i never rush into pre patch content i already know what to expect at bare minimum it will last me about 1 hour worth of play time which is okay something new so aint gonna complain

It’s also only here for two weeks, not like the previous 4-6 week ones. Is it really worth making an explosive content full pre-patch event that’s going to be be gone the next week? This is reasonable, it’s a little something to do and leads up to SL.

My expectations weren’t high because I knew what blizz was up against. I’m honestly cutting them slack, as I am for all of the stuff going on with SL. I’m still disappointed in what I got, moreso now that I’m being told by other people on the forums that the pre-patch initially had more to it and people complained to the point that blizz cut it down. But that’s more annoyance at the playerbase than at the developers.

People compare it to the Legion pre-patch event. Constant action, being able to level alts while fighting the Legion. The pace and immersion were much better that what this pre-patch has offered so far. Maybe it picks up in week 2, otherwise its far from perfect.

Except that the WQ showed one weapon (that wasn’t even spec specific) , the boss dropped a completely separate item (also not spec specific). More lolzy as there is next week, but kind of silly.

I think the whole lower numbers thing has our brain’s thinking we somehow got robbed.

Simp harder.

I mean people who pay for the game have a right to complain, but I do agree with most of what you said. It’s a pre-patch event, it’s not really meant as something that’s going to be non-stop content for 10 hours a day from now until the expansion comes out, it’s just a little bit extra. And yeah 2020, Covid, people working from home, etc, etc.

Yeah you haven’t played long.

They normally don’t recycle content this hardcore, it’s clear like a team of max 3 people did this whole prepatch event.

No, it is not perfect.
